Job Description
Main Purpose:
To independently conduct cold chain services according to standards protocol, work instructions and procedures as prescribed through PPECB’s legislative mandate.
High level Objectives:
To ensure service delivery to clients in line with the organisations regulatory mandate.
To ensure compliance with the BMS, ISO 9001 and all relevant legislation, policies and procedures.
To ensure completeness of income
To ensure compliance to Human Capital policies and procedures.
To ensure effective Risk Management
Essential Requirements;
· Must have a valid driver's license & own reliable vehicle.
· Must be able to travel locally and nationally as and when the job requires him/her to do so
Must be in good health
· Willing to relocate
· Will travel frequently
Experience:
Minimum 2 years relevant experience in the perishable-export logistical chain
Experience in PPECB cold chain disciplines - required technical & soft skills competencies (minimum 65 credits; that is 50 cold chain technical credits and 15 credits for soft skills(I-Thrive).
Knowledge:
Knowledge of relevant legislation
Knowledge of perishable-export industry
Knowledge of policies and procedures;
Product and technical knowledge
Systems and process knowledge
Knowledge of risk management
Computer literate
