OVERBERG WATER

OW-FINGRAD26: FINANCE GRADUATE 

DURATION: 36 Months Contract 

SALARY: R10 000 

CENTRE: Overberg Water Board, Corporate Office, Somerset West. 

START DATE: 15 September 2026 

Overberg Water is a water board established in accordance with section 28 of Water Services Act, Act No 108 of 1997 and is classified as Government Business Enterprise as per Schedule 3B entity in terms of the Public Finance Management Act, Act No. 1 of 1999 as amended. 

The entity is seeking to employ two (2) Graduates to work on the Finance Department. 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 

·       B Com Accounting degree or equivalent tertiary qualification in the field of Accounting or Finance, NQF 6 or 7 equivalent. 

·       Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office. 

·       Only South African Citizens are eligible to apply. 

COMPETENCIES:

·       Ability to work in a demanding working environment 

·       Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy is imperative 

·       Willing to work overtime 

·       Ability to work in a deadline driven environment 

·       Ability to work within a team 

·       Excellent communication skills 

Preference will be given to candidates within the Western Cape.
