MPUMALANGA DEPARTMENT OF ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND TOURISM
It is the strategic intent of the Department to promote employment equity in terms of race, gender and disability through the filling of these Graduate Internship Programme with candidates whose appointment will promote equitable representativity in line with the numeric targets as contained in the departmental Employment Equity plan.
APPLICATIONS : Applications must be submitted online through the Provincial e-Recruitment Portal at Applicants are required to register https://erecruitment.mpg.gov.za and create a profile on the system before submitting their applications. A comprehensive, recently updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) including three (3) contactable references and all mandatory documents must be uploaded on the portal to apply for these opportunities. No manual, emailed or faxed applications will be accepted.

NOTE : Applications received after the closing date and time will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be required to submit certified copies of qualifications, identity document and any other relevant documents on or before the day of the interview. Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the date, time and venue of the interview. Shortlisted candidate(s) will also be subjected to pre-entry and integrity/ethics assessments. The successful candidates will be subjected to personnel suitability checks that will consist of: criminal record checks, citizenship, financial record checks, qualifications, and verification of any dismissal for misconduct. Applicants are required to disclose whether they are directors or shareholders of companies, whether they conduct business with any organ of state, and whether they perform any remunerative work outside their normal duties, in accordance with applicable legislation and prescripts. The 24-month Internship Programme is intended to provide graduates with practical workplace experience relevant to their qualifications. Applicants must be unemployed South African citizens who have not previously participated in an internship programme within any National or Provincial Government Department or State Institution. Failure to disclose previous participation in a government internship programme may result in the immediate termination of the internship contract. Applicants must submit proof of residence issued by the relevant Local Municipality or Traditional Authority.
