DUTIES
Opening of new accounts: - Transferring water and electricity meters from the previous owner to new owner. - Process new water connection applications, create and send the works orders to Engineering Department water section for meter installation. - Issuing of duplicate Accounts: - When original account is not received or lost in post. - To ensure that the account is received in order to pay it. - Handle all enquiries: - At counter and telephonically. - To give the correct Water and Electricity readings, balances on accounts and payments. - To ensure effective and quick services to public. - Balancing pre-paid electricity machine and recording: - Balancing prepaid electricity with cashiers to ensure correct balancing daily electricity sales with money. - To ensure correct allocation of payments and correct balancing of electricity sales. - Perform any other related Ad Hoc task and duties as requested or required by management (supervisor) from time to time.
SALARY R 287 412.00 – R 328 308.00 p.a. (Level 08 of a Grade 04 Local Authority)

DUTIES
