AEROBICS COACH X3 – REF: AD75 

FIXED TERM CONTRACT: 03 MONTHS 

READVERTISEMENT

 

Key Performance Areas: 

·       Plan and conduct structured training sessions. 

·       Commitment to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. 

·       Ability to work with university students, structures and observe policies, and procedures. 

·       Develop athletes’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills. 

·       Analyze performance and implement improvement strategies. 

·       Identify and recruit potential student-athletes. 

·       Organise code specific mass participation programmes on campus. 

·       Submit monthly administrative documents (attendance register, reports, entries, injury logs). 

·       Deliver sessions on and off campus residences. 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

·       Grade 12 

·       Recognized relevant coaching certificate. 

·       First Aid Certificate 

·       Valid Police Clearance 

·       3 years instructing experience 

·       Safeguarding certificate 

 

Recommendations:

·       Knowledge of KATABOX, STEP & HI-LO 

·       Experience in group instructing 

·       Ability to instruct boot camp 

 

Salary Scale: R4 500.00 – R6 000.00

·       Develop athletes’ technical, tactical, physical, and mental skills. 

·       Analyze performance and implement improvement strategies. 

·       Choreograph routines for performances and competitions. 

·       Prepare and guide the team for varied events. 

·       Ensure athlete welfare, including academic-sport balance. 

·       Ensure compliance with university and sport federation regulations. 

·       Submit administrative documents (attendance, reports, entries, injury logs). 

·       Uphold professional conduct, fair play, and ethical coaching standards. 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

·       Grade 12 

·       Proven experience in cheerleading (coaching or participation) 

·       First Aid Certificate 

·       Valid Police Clearance 

·       Valid Safeguarding certificate 

·       Background in dance, gymnastics, or related field (advantageous) 

·       Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Key Performance Areas: 

·       Serve as the primary link for information between the sport administration office, players, and coaches. 

·       Collect and maintain player documentation (medical forms, registrations, player cards).

·       Disseminate schedules, updates, and team information. 

·       Handle game sheets, scores, and report issues to club officials. 

·       Coordinate training times, match schedules, and potential call-ups. 

·       Organize team travel, including bookings for hotels and transport. 

·       Ensure uniforms are organized and equipment (balls, cones, etc.) is available. 

·       Prepare game rosters and player cards for each match. 

·       Manage team budgets, collect match fees, and handle tournament registrations. 

·       Represent the club at events, meeting and liaise with club committees. 

·       Organize code specific mass participation programmes on campus. 

·       Submit monthly administrative documents (attendance register, reports, entries, injury logs). 

·       Ensure compliance with university, USSA, and sport federation regulations. 

·       Identify and recruit potential student-athletes.

GYM ATTENDANT X2 – REF: AD75 

FIXED TERM CONTRACT: 04 MONTHS 

READVERTISEMENT

 

Key Performance Areas: 

·       Provide a welcoming and inclusive environment. 

·       Monitor the gym floor to ensure safety and enforce facility rules. 

·       Clean and sanitize fitness equipment, machines, and, in some cases, locker rooms, to maintain a hygienic environment. They also keep the weight room organized by re-racking dumbbells and plates. 

·       Assist members with setting up, adjusting, and safely operating strength and cardio equipment. 

·       Act as a first responder in emergencies (requiring CPR/First Aid knowledge), report equipment malfunctions, and complete incident reports. 

·       Provide information regarding gym programs, answer phones, and sometimes assist with membership inquiries. 

 

Minimum Requirements: 

·       Grade 12 

·       Recognized Fitness or Gym qualification 

·       First Aid certificate 

·       2 years of gym experience
