One will be a practical exercise to determine a candidate’s suitability based on the post’s technical and generic requirements and the other must be an integrity (ethical conduct) assessment. Following the technical exercise and interview, a maximum of three (3) SMS candidates will undergo psychometric assessments to assess cognitive capabilities, behavioural preferences, emotional intelligence, and integrity. The Department will also conduct reference checks with HR of current /previous employer(s), besides the references provided on the CV. Candidates will be subjected to security screening and a technical assessment. Under no circumstances will be faxed, emailed and late applications be accepted. A Minimum of 3-years junior management level experience in IT auditing. Membership of Institute of Internal Auditors South Africa (II A SA) / Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA)) and Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) will be an added advantage.
