We are seeking to appoint motivated employees in the following positions:

2. HR GENERALIST – INDEFINITE APPOINTMENT
Basic Salary: R 499 081.97 per annum, plus benefits
Requirements: Min: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field majoring in Human Resources Management or Labour Relations or Higher Diploma in Human Resource Management Proven experience in a human resources role, with a generalist background preferred Solid understanding of labour laws and employment regulations Honours Degree in Human Resource Management, majoring in Labour Law or Human Resource Management or related will be an added advantage Valid driver’s licence At least three to five years’ work experience in a similar position with extensive exposure to Human Resources and Labour Relations practices Computer literate – MS Office suite, Internet, email Facilitation and counselling skills.
Key Responsibilities include: Risk Management Job Evaluation Learning & Development Human Resources Information System, Employee relations & Engagement Support Labour Relations Employee Assistance Programme Reporting HR life cycle and records management
Competencies Required: Excellent planning and organisational skills Sound working knowledge of all aspects of human resource functions Superior knowledge of HR-related legislation Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Sound knowledge of financial management Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines Ability to identify potential risks, analyse trends and develop interventions to manage the risks Patience and endurance Ability to plan and implement projects Good interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written proven experience in labour relations
BASIC SALARY AND BENEFITS
The salaries quoted above do not include benefits. Iziko benefits comprise generous contributions towards a designated retirement fund (compulsory), a designated medical aid (voluntary) and a housing subsidy (voluntary). Other employment conditions such as working hours and leave entitlement are also generous.

Audit and Risk Committee Member
Call for Applications: Audit and Risk Committee Member
Applications are hereby invited for a suitably qualified candidate to serve on the Audit and Risk Committee of the Iziko Museums of South Africa, a Schedule 3A Public Entity. A National Treasury regulated remuneration fee is payable to all committee members.
The successful candidate must have 5 – 10 years executive management experience in one or more of the following fields: governance, financial management, risk management, internal controls, external audit process, sustainability reporting and information communication technology.
A relevant postgraduate qualification in Accounting, Auditing, Risk Management, Governance, Law, ICT or a related field will be advantageous. Professional Membership with a recognized body will also be advantageous.
Applicants must be independent and must not have any conflict of interest with Iziko Museums of South Africa.
