Responsibilities
Strategy and Annual Performance Planning
- Assist HDA internal Departments to understand requirements for compiling the Strategy of the HDA Manage the development of the HDA strategy and annual performance plan.
- Coordinate and support departments in the development of departmental plans.
- Plan and co-ordinate Quarterly performance and Strategic planning meetings.
- Providing necessary support in the strategic planning process (e.g. Compiling Meeting minutes, generating APP templates for respective departments).
- Understanding Performance Planning Requirements in line with the DPME framework.
- Assist in the review of all strategic plans (Annual Performance Plan, Annual Strategic Plan).
Quarterly and Monthly Reporting
- Coordinate compliance with reporting deadlines, obligations, channels, and standards.
- Assist in the collection and collation of monthly performance information from the departments.
- Communicate timelines for submission of performance information by departments.
- Assist in the review the accuracy and consistency of content in quarterly and annual reports aligned with the APP and Strategic Plan.
- Provide support to departments on compliance with the adherence of the Annual Performance plan in the collation of quarterly performance reporting.
- Coordinate the compilation of the Compliance Matrix on a Quarterly basis.
- Assist in the update and reconcile the performance results with the Business Intelligence Unit.
- Thorough understanding of DPME reporting requirements.
Performance Compliance
- Assist in monitoring and checking quarterly reports.
- Monitoring that portfolio of evidence files are consistent across all departments in terms of expected requirements.
- Develop reporting templates for Monthly and Quarterly reporting in line with the APP.
- Assist in the review portfolio of evidence files for accuracy.
- Maintain listings for all KPI’s.
- Assist in Identifying areas of non-compliance and implement corrective action.
- Ability to utilise the eQPRS reporting portal.
M&E system/dashboard development, management and maintenance
- Assist in the development, management and maintenance of the Monitoring and Evaluation system and /or dashboard to measure effectiveness of spatial targeting.
- Assist in ensuring that datasets, databases and supporting information adhere to the M & E standards, procedures.
- Assist in monitoring the performance of the M&E system and/ or dashboard through reviewing system utilization.
Administration
- Assist in the compilation of necessary performance data for the development of presentations.
- Ensure that files and records are up to date and in line with the required standards.
Requirements
- Graduate Degree in Business / Public Administration or related field is required.
- Minimum 1–3-year experience required.
- Excellent report writing and communication skills
- Experience in the Human Settlements Sector will be an advantage
