MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
· Grade 12
· Basic training qualification
· Code B driver's license

· 8 years or more relevant experience required inclusive of proven supervisory / managerial experience

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
· Ensure that the relevant functional responsibilities are capable of recognizing critical goals and objectives and align strategies to competently address legally sound traffic related practices.
· Ensure the delivery of scope of services of the post.
· Ensure desired outcomes by constantly reviewing and adjusting critical performance indicators and establishing necessary measures to guide sectional plans.
· Ensure the smooth and effective operations of the Law Enforcement Section.
· Ensure that sound financial management practices are introduced, enforced and controlled.
· Ensure that administrative sequences dictating reporting requirements and approval procedures are complied with and documentation and correspondence compiled through the provision of accurate information and circulated within specific time frames.
· Ensure a motivated and professional personnel corps is equipped to render a high standard of service delivery to the public.
· Ensure that the Traffic Law Enforcement Section delivers effective and accurate information to external and internal role.

· Must be prepared to work longer working hours depending on workload.
· Must be prepared to work according to strict and sometimes conflicting deadlines and manage interruptions and re-prioritizing of needs.
