5 Year Contract

Salary: R338 106 per annum, part of 37% in lieu of benefits will go towards pension.

 

Duties:

  • Coordinate administration activities for COSACSA/SATVETSA;
  • SATVETSA:
  • SRC induction and workshop, civic educator’s programs;
  • Academic conferences;
  • Provincial and National congresses;
  • NSFAS, Ministerial, DHET, SETAs and TVET meetings and travelling logistics.
  • COSACSA:
  • Track and field Arts and Culture festival;
  • Netball games;
  • Academic congresses and TVET cup.

 

Requirements

  • Recognised National Diploma (NQF 6) in Public Management;
  • 1 Year relevant experience in administration;
  • COSACSA AND SATVETSA experience will be an added advantage;
  • Driver’s licence.

FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT INTERN

Temporary (24 Months)

Post Description:

  • Prepare, process, and distribute monthly payroll;
  • Verify and maintain the accuracy of employee records;
  • Review, validate, and process part-time claims, overtime claims, allowances, deductions, and other payroll-related transactions;
  • Generate and distribute salary advices;
  • Prepare payment requisitions and supporting documentation for third-party beneficiaries;
  • Respond to payroll-related queries and confirm staff employment to companies when required;
  • Manage and maintain student debtor accounts;
  • Timely follow-up on outstanding balances;
  • Receive request to purchase from the SCM Head in accordance with approved procurement procedures;
  • Source, select, and evaluate suppliers in line with the SCM Policy and procurement requirements;
  • Obtain, receive, and evaluate quotations as prescribed by the SCM Policy;
  • Prepare official purchase orders and supporting documentation for approval;
  • Place approved orders with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of goods and services;
  • Receive documents for payment, check for duplicate payments, obtain signatures according to delegation of powers and capture invoices;
  • Ensure that the expenditure is in the line with the approved budget;
  • Prepare and process authorised general ledger journal entries, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records;
  • Reconcile and follow up on control accounts on a monthly basis;
  • Perform related financial and administrative duties as assigned;
  • Prepare management reports and provide information required for audits purposes.

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Matric;
  • NQF Level 7 Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Financial Management.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY INTERN

Post Description:

  • Install hardware, software and device drivers on standalone computers;
  • Determine users’ technical needs and provide them with appropriate solutions;
  • Install and configure computer networks including LAN and WAN;
  • Manage network configurations to ensure that all computers on a network can communicate effectively;
  • Test computers, peripherals, hardware and software to ensure that they are working appropriately;
  • Upgrade software, patches and operating systems on a continuous basis;
  • Install and configure monitors, keyboards and printers;
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software problems;
  • Act as a technical resource in order to assist users with resolving computer issues;
  • Answer tickets and emails pertaining to users’ computer problems;
  • Ensure that all computers are secured effectively by installing and updating antivirus software;
  • Set up and organize IPs appropriately;
  • Train users on new software;
  • Analyze network problems and manage preventative maintenance procedures and any other delegated duties.

 

Minimum Requirements
