DURBAN ICC
Durban ICC SOC (Ltd) is the managing company for the Inkosi Albert Luthuli ICC Complex, which includes the International Convention Centre Durban (ICC), the ICC Exhibition Centre and the ICC Arena. The Durban ICC is one of the most advanced conference facilities in the world, having been voted Africa’s Leading Conference Centre by World Travel Awards for 18 years.
POSITION – ISO GRADUATE
TWENTY-FOUR (24) MONTHS FIXED TERM CONTRACT
STIPEND R5 000.00 PER MONTH
The organisation is calling for suitable candidates to apply for the position of ISO Graduate. The ISO Graduate will be placed within the ISO Department, where they will gain practical workplace experience by supporting the department's day-to-day operations. The graduate will assist with specific activities related to the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement while developing knowledge and skills in ISO standards and quality management practices within the Durban ICC.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Matric (Grade 12)
National Diploma / Degree in any of the following disciplines (Quality/Microbiology/Safety/Environmental Science/Chemical Technology)

Proficiency in MS Office (MS Word, Ms Excel, MS Excel and MS Outlook)

KEY PERFORMANCE / MAIN ACTIVITIES OF THIS ROLE
Assist in maintaining all documentation for ISO systems.
Coordinate the activities of document control including distribution of documents.
Tracking and reporting on documents review progress.
Assist with internal and external audits.
Facilitate readiness checks in various departments where necessary to ensure everything is in place for the audit.
Coordinate ISO inductions for all new employees.
Collate information into monthly waste inventory.
Coordinate all compliance meeting and ensure registers and minutes are kept.
Ensure all files are updated with latest information for all ISO systems.
Coordinate purchase requisitions using JDE system.
Assist with administration duties.
