Minimum Requirements:
- BSc Chemistry or Chemical Engineering Degree/Environmental Management
- 3 - 5 years' experience in air emission licensing and air quality field
- Registration with the relevant Professional body
Core Responsibilities:
- To develop and implement enforcement and issuing of Atmospheric Emission Licensing strategies, policy and plans, enabling excellence in operational licensing services throughout the EMM.
- Strategic capability and leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable air quality legislation and council regulations and management of risks as pertaining to air quality management through EMM.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable MFMA and other applicable legislation and regulation in EMM.
- Provide effective and efficient customer service
- Ensures efficient and effective contract management in the area of responsibility

Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Meteorology or Atmospheric or Mathematics or Chemistry
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a meteorologist conducting air quality research and forecasting and running meteorological models to test, review and evaluate the effectiveness of air quality control strategies
- Registration with the relevant Professional body.
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the development, implementation, monitoring and review of mathematical simulation of how air pollutants disperse in the ambient atmosphere in EMM.
- Foster integration of air quality management through EMM.
- ensure compliance with all applicable council regulations and management of risks as pertaining to air quality management through EMM
- Ensure compliance with all applicable MFMA and other applicable legislation and regulation in EMM.

- 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar environment of air quality monitoring and management of ambient air quality stations
- Registration with the relevant Professional body
Core Responsibilities:
- Ensure the monitoring, reporting and review of air quality emissions as outlined in NEMAQA and related legislation and regulations in EMM.
- Ensure adequate implementation and maintenance of Governance and Risk Management practices
- Ensure compliance with all applicable MFMA and other applicable legislation and regulation in EMM.

- Ensures effective contract management in area of responsibility

Job Purpose:
To provide comprehensive, efficient, and effective clerical, secretarial, and administrative support services to ensure the smooth functioning of the office.
Minimum Requirements:
- Grade 12 plus Secretarial Certificate
- 1 – 2 years' experience in similar environment
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage the Divisional Head's diary by scheduling, confirming, and coordinating appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, while prioritising urgent matters and ensuring the effective management of commitments.
- Coordinate meeting logistics, including venue bookings, refreshments, and communication with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of meetings.
- Screen and manage incoming calls, correspondence, and messages before directing them to the Divisional Head, respond to routine enquiries where appropriate, and ensure the timely recording and follow-up of return calls.
- Prepare, format, copy, and distribute documents, reports, presentations, and other official correspondence using relevant office applications.
- Establish, maintain, and update an effective filing and records management system for the Office of the Divisional Head to ensure safekeeping and easy retrieval of information.
- Monitor and follow up on action items, directives, and correspondence to ensure the timely completion of assigned tasks and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
