Minimum Requirements:
- B Com Audit/ Accounting
- Driver's Licence
- 2 years' experience in risk management including Project risk
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk reduction programs by identifying, analysing risk and maintaining risk registers.
- Properly identify and assess all risks that the Roads and Stormwater department is exposed to.
- Ensure that all new projects risk exposures are quantified, documented and communicated.
- Ensure that departmental risk management is effective and within acceptable level.
- Facilitate divisional integration where risk exposure and mitigation responsibilities overlap between divisions
- Manage the implementation of risk mitigation factors and compliance thereof and ensure that exposures are mitigated and non-conformance is reported.
- Provide monthly risk dashboards to the relevant Senior Management highlighting key risk issues and mitigation factors

Minimum Requirements:
- Degree in Public Administration or equivalent B. Tech / B. Eng in Civil Engineering
- Driver's Licence
- 5 years relevant experience and knowledge of legislation that governs public office bearers
Core Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise lead and control engineering requirements and initiatives focusing on alignment of strategic documentation i.e GDS, IDP, and SDBIP.
- Oversee, drive and actively be involved in the development of medium and short term strategic plans to ensure the national objectives as adopted by the national government are realised.
- Coordinate reporting in terms of the council procedures with respect to the SDIBP, annual reports, audits reports etc in respect of planning and implementation matters
- Participate in defining a demand management and procurement plan for the section to ensure adherence and timeous delivery of projects.
- Assess, plan, manage and coordinate the implementation of the operational budget of the Division to comply with the financial legislation, policies and procedures.
- Manage procurement processes and ensure that it comply with the Supply Chain Management processes.
- Manage and control plant, equipment as well as materials.
- Ensure effective administration of the Division, optimum utilization of resources and compliance with Municipal and Departmental policies.
- Guide the drafting and reporting processes associated with infrastructure planning at strategic level
- Identify potential risk in the area of operation, mitigation and management thereof.
