Minimum Requirements:
- B.Sc./ B. Eng/ B. Tech in Civil Engineering
- Professional registration with ECSA as Pr. Engineer or Pr. Technologist
- Driver's licence
- 5 years relevant experience
Core Responsibilities:
- Manage key performance areas and result indicators associated with the rehabilitation and maintenance of road infrastructure, storm-water drainage and the adequacy of traffic signage and road markings.
- Identify technical / non-technical skills gap within your area of accountability and complete developmental plans for existing personnel and monitor the adequacy of current training interventions.
- Implement Human Resources policies and procedures to control and regulate workplace conflict and institute corrective measures.
- Prepare capital and operating estimates and control expenditure against the approved budget allocations.
- Manage procurement processes and ensure that it comply with the Supply Chain Management processes.
- Manage and control plant, equipment as well as materials.
- Prepare/ approve drawings, designs and costs estimate of work to be done and monitor the implementation thereafter.
- Direct and control professional, technical and operational outcomes associated with the functions.
- Compile maintenance programs and reports.

Minimum Requirements:
- B Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering or relevant equivalent NQF Level 7 qualification
- TOGAF / SABSA Certification
- 5 years' experience in Business Architecture, including strategic tactical and operational thinking and leadership with strong abilities in relationship management; developing and management of business architecture artefacts; established a track record of managing ICT staff and ICT services; and demonstrated project management competency and the execution of multiple projects, including managing resources across multiple projects
- A valid driver's license
Core Responsibilities:
- Provide input to strategic capability and leadership to ensure alignment with the City's and ICT Strategy
- Ensure effective operational processes to ensure the effective and efficient execution of assigned tasks related to the delivery of architecture projects and thereby contribute towards the achievement of performance goals by the Department
- Perform governance and risk management functions by maintaining compliance with policies and procedures to ensure promotion of good governance, compliance with applicable legislative and policy prescripts and effective and efficient management of risks by the Department
- Manage effective financial processes by performing assessment of the potential of emerging technologies and innovation ideas to contribute towards prudent financial management by the Department at large
- Ensure customer service orientation to promote people centered and efficient service delivery by the Department in line with the Batho Pele principles
