Minimum Requirements:

  • Grade 12
  • National Diploma in HR Management / Business Management (NQF Level 6 qualification)
  • 2 - 3 years' experience in HR within Local Government or similar environment
  • 1 - 2 years' working experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HR Analytics) will be an added advantage

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Perform general and specific human resources administrative duties in order to render an effective and efficient professional human resources administrative service
  • Implement good governance and apply risk knowledge and skills within the parameters of prescribed regulatory and best practice framework to proactively mitigate against risks that can adversely affect the Departmental performance and service delivery
  • Create meaningful HR Analytics
  • Perform the section's Adhoc tasks as and when required
  • Ensure the financial processing of quotations and invoices to comply with the supply chain management process and the MFMA
  • Responsible for updating and maintaining a recruitment tracker spreadsheet of all advertised posts and generating and issuing the internal weekly reports
  • Service customer according to Batho Pele principles and ensure continued customer satisfaction
  • Maintaining professional interaction and always ensure ethical dealings with stakeholders
  • Integrating new knowledge attained through formal and informal learning opportunities and applying same in the execution of the role

Job Purpose:

To execute the functions of the Property Management and Portfolio Advisory Division of the department in the relevant Customer Care Area.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • National Diploma in Real Estate / Public Administration
  • 4 years’ relevant experience

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Execute of all the property related matters to ensure effective property management.
  • Receive a request from internal departments or external parties to negotiate a required servitude.
  • Refer to servitude diagram to the property valuer to determine the compensation amount and identify the registered owner.
  • Determine the compensation amount and identify the registered owner in case of internal request.
  • Prepare an advert for the permanent closure and place it in the provincial gazette and local newspapers circulating in the area.
  • To ensure compliance with conditions of permanent closures of roads and parks.
  • Inspect properties on lease and sale agreements and supply information to the Senior Property Officer for reports regarding progress on property related matters quarterly.
  • Conduct site inspection of the stands/land owned by the council managed by the Development Planning and Real Estate department.
  • Update information on property management system.
  • Liaise with the billing and collections team regarding tenant accounts, new applications and or general finance related queries.
  • To provide effective customer service to the public and build relationship with the stakeholders.

  • Valid code C, EC or EC1 drivers' licence with PrDP
  • Communication and interpersonal Skills
  • 5 years access control experience

 

Core Responsibilities:

  • Despatch buses to ensure timeous execution of services and ensure bus drivers report for duty on time
  • Convey instructions to bus drivers regarding shifts, and special hire trips
  • Ensure that the destination boards information on the buses is correct when buses leave the depot
  • Manage the availability of buses for all services rendered to ensure that all required buses are available to attend to all shifts, book buses in the depot when they return after special hire trips, arrange replacement for breakdown buses
  • Ensure that buses leave the depot on time, and that there's enough bus drivers to execute the required shifts
  • Record information on departure times, kilometre readings, and ensure that bus drivers submit daily time sheets
  • Ensure that buses are clean when leaving the depot and assist with inspections of buses when they return to the depot to determine any damages or problems
  • Oversee security guards on duty and report any problems to the senior operations officer
