Job Purpose:
An exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic individual with the right qualification and experience to assume the position of a Committee Secretary:
Reporting to the Company Secretary, the ideal candidate will be required to:
Provide broad secretarial services such as setting up the required meetings in line with Ithala Policies & Procedures.
Take and type minutes accurately and follow the acceptable standard format including action items to be followed up.
Provide support to Executives on a day to day basis on various issues.
Perform all secretarial and administration functions for the Unit.
Assist the Company Secretary with the execution of Board resolutions.
Assist in the in the enactment of statutory requirements as per governance.
Ensure that the Secretariat database is maintained.
Maintain share registers.
Assist Manager to ensure all registrar requirement are met
Communicate effectively with senior management and develop good working relationship with key stakeholders
Provide administrative services such as maintenance of statutory registers and records of all companies within Ithala SOC Limited
Communicate effectively with senior management and develop good working relationship with key stakeholders
The following minimum requirements must be met in order to be considered for this position:
A CIS or legal qualification.
At least two (2) appropriate years related experience.
High level of understanding and experience in the application of Public Management Act, as well as other related legislation.
Good knowledge of corporate law and corporate governance principles.
Knowledge of computerised system.
Working knowledge of legal requirements relating to secretariat processes and legislation like PFM, Corporate Governance, Banks Act, etc.
The ability to communicate effectively.
Diplomacy, approachable and dependable at work.
Tenacity and professionalism
Integrity and result oriented.

Job Purpose:
An exceptional opportunity awaits a dynamic individual with the right qualification and experience to assume the position of a Safety & Security Manager.
The responsibilities for the successful candidate will be to:
Developing and implementing of strategies and policies regarding security management.
Develop, manage and monitor access measures throughout Ithala.
Oversight and monitoring of security contracts and related activities.
Oversee the implementation of security breach policies throughout Ithala.
Ensure availability and proper control and utilization of human, physical and financial sources assigned to the division
Develop strategies to ensure that access control is carried out within Ithala premises.
Develop and implement strategies of reporting and advising management on security related issues.
Develop and implement strategies of identifying areas of risk related to safety and security of employees including assets within Ithala and to ensure that the appropriate risk control methods are put in place.
Research and development of security networks.
Manage information and vetting processes throughout Ithala.
Coordination and investigation of security related incidents.
Compile and management of departmental annual budgets
The following minimum requirements must be met in order to be considered for this position:
An appropriate 3-year Diploma in Security Management or equivalent qualification in Security Environment.
Five years relevant experience at Senior Management level.
Knowledge of minimum Information Security Standard ( MISS)
The incumbent must be registered with PSIRA (minimum Grade B)
Criminal procedure Act, firearms Control Act, Financial management, Service delivery innovation and customer focus.
Program and Project Management.
Knowledge of Government Protocol.
Policies and the legislative framework.
Promotion of Access to Premises Act.
Protection of Information Act, contingency Planning.
Report writing skills.
Good problem solving skills.
Good interpersonal relations and people management skills and must have completed any security management courses conducted by Intelligence Agencies, computer literacy and firearms competence certificate.
