INDEPENDENT DEVELOPMENT TRUST (IDT)
 
The IDT is a Schedule 2 Public Entity, established as a development management agency. Its primary role is to influence, support and add value to the national agenda. The IDT is mandated to measurably impact on the eradication of poverty and to improve the quality of life of poor, rural and marginalised communities. To assist us in achieving this, we wish to appoint dynamic individuals in the following positions: 
 
POST : SENIOR MANAGER: RISK MANAGEMENT 
JOB LEVEL : DU 
REGION : NATIONAL OFFICE 
LOCATION : PRETORIA 
DURATION : 5 YEAR CONTRACT 
PORTFOLIO : OCEO 
 
PURPOSE :To provide innovative and integrated risk management and compliance services to line management to ensure that the organisation achieves its strategic objectives and compliance with internal policy and legislation. 
 
REPORTING : Chief Executive Officer 
 
 
REQUIREMENTS :A Degree in Risk Management/ Auditing or related fields. Professional registration with relevant bodies i.e. Institute of Risk Management South Africa (IRMSA). Minimum of 10 years working experience in risk and/or compliance management, 3 of which must have been at a management level. 
Competencies: Risk management, Compliance management, Administration management, Records and document management, Relevant legislative, governance, risk and compliance protocols, Policy development, Project management and Auditing. 
Skills: Interpersonal relations, Analytical, Change Management, Business Management, Conceptual Ability, Facilitation, Decision Making, Communication, Problem Solving, Conflict Resolution, Negotiation, Report writing, Research.
