• Contribute to teaching and learning in the field of Information Technology as delegated by the Head of Department
• Conduct ad-hoc duties as assigned by the line manager
• Teach, Assess and moderation – summative/formative assessments including moderation to ensure adherence to standard and quality
• Provide academic support to learners
• Develop relevant learning material according to the university and SAQA guidelines
• Undertake research in Information Technology related fields
• Participate in national and/or international conferences and publish research findings in accredited journals
• Participate in community service projects

• Willingness to register for a doctoral program in Information Technology and be able to complete it within six years
