Position Purpose
•To lead the development, implementation of the change management strategy for TRIM as an organization. To position and enable the business through continuous change and transformation which includes people, processes, technologies and methodologies
•Responsible for the development and execution of a structured approach to change management and transformation which will enable TRIM to effectively define and manage outcomes, mitigate risks, assess organisational dynamics and develop the cultural agility that the organisational change requires.
Position Outputs
1. Lead and support various business strategies, policies, practices and initiatives that are designed to ensure that Transnet Rail Infrastructure Manager’s working environment is supportive of efforts to contribute and achieve the business objective.
2. Establish the strategy and approach to ensure the continued development improvement and ownership of TRIM’s organisational change management and transformation methodology for use with all organisational business processes and information technology changes across the organisation.
3. Champion the change management and transformation practice by guiding, educating, and coaching executives, leaders and employees at all levels on organisational change management strategies and techniques to most effectively deliver a comprehensive and sustained change.
4. Create and implement change management plans that minimise employee resistance, maximize employee engagement and ignite new behaviours and thinking of the employees that will make TRIM deliver different types of experience and service to its customers.
5. Design and implement in collaboration with people management initiatives relating to culture/climate improvement that support the organisational objective.
6. Develop a feedback mechanism at strategic touch points to facilitate open discussions on organizational improvement opportunities and planned business re-engineering projects.
7. Conduct research within TRIM and externally gather information, analyze trends impacting on business transformation and develop corrective interventions.
8. Develop and manage execution of the TRIM employee engagement and communication plans targeted at all employee levels and stakeholder groups through an integrated, dynamic and multi-channel strategy.
9. Develop and enable capability across the organisation through train the trainer programs to enable TRIM to develop and manage own culture and change engagement improvement plans.
10. Collaborate with and build relationships with Transnet Group change and other functional ODs to enable strategic design and implementation of culture and change initiatives.
11. Develop and execute annual budgets and proposals, timelines, and creative design to increase employee engagement and sustain the employee brand and organisation culture.
12. Conduct monitoring and evaluation of the change and culture initiatives and the impacts thereof.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications, Experience and Inherent Job Requirements • B-degree in e.g. Human / Social Sciences, Business degree with Organisational Development • Post-graduate qualification would be an added advantage. • Minimum of 10-12 ears’ experience in Organisational Transformation within large organisations with a complex operations of which at least 5 years at a senior managerial level; • Requirement of trust and honesty in the handling of finances as per the National Credit Act Amendment 19. • Must undergo Lifestyle Audit Standard Requirements • Drivers’ license code 8 • Travel as required by the business

Position Purpose

Position Purpose
Assist the Train Driver in the safe and efficient driving/handling of all different types of trains/locomotive consists (airbrake, vacuum, high speed, heavy haul and passengers) to ensure that the customers freight/cargo reaches its destination in good condition, on time, in order to enable the organisation to satisfy the customers’ needs.
