Purpose of the Job: The Security Officer is accountable to provide physical security services for safety of employees, property, information, stakeholders and relevant regional offices, hospitals in line with geographic footprints.
Key Performance Areas
Access Control.
- Execute control of admission by positive identification of staff members, visitors, and Contractors before they allowed to enter the premises.
- Issue admission control cards /permit to visitors, contractors and receive them back.

- Bring any deficiencies or problems with regard to security matters to the attention of Shift leaders and /or Senior Security personnel.
- Security systems monitoring and testing.

- Programming, issuing, enabling disabling and receiving of access control cards.
- Attend to security requests and complaints.
- Control of all security registers.
- Activate emergency procedures in case of emergency.
- Carry out reception duties and ad hoc tasks as requested.
Guarding services.
- Ensure movement control of vehicle, assets, and pedestrians.
- Patrol of buildings, offices, and the perimeter.
- Inspection – security and fire risks.
- Check all security equipment and facilities and take action where necessary.
- Carry out special assignments including events security and VIP protection.
- Working all shifts as per the duty roster.
- Lock and unlock offices where necessary.
Qualifications
- NQF 4 (Matric or Grade 12) qualification.
- Grade 'C' PSIRA registration.
- Certification in OHS Act
- Certification in Check point training.
Experience

Escalate matters with litigious disputes to pleading processes.
- Verify and analyse data used in settling litigated claims to ensure that there is a litigious dispute and that decisions for further litigation process are made according to company practices, policies and procedures.
Provide panel attorney with file contents for trial preparation.
- Confer with panel attorney's legal counsel on the litigation strategy to embarked on in preparation trial and receive requests for approval in terms of the delegation of authority.
- Ensure high court practice notes are followed.
- Evaluate outstanding information.
- Assess claims for possible settlement.
- Evaluate expert medico legal reports.
- Follow up on outstanding information until all documents has been received.
- Repetitive diarising on 6th weekly basis.
Report on trial outcomes and out of court settlements.
- Examine claims investigated by panel attorneys, further investigate questionable claims to determine whether to authorize settlements or tenders.
- Four (4) year Degree in Law or equivalent
- Admission as an Attorney or Advocate of the High Court.
- Relevant 3 years' experience in the claims/litigation environment.

Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Team Leader: Claims Investigation, the successful candidate will be responsible for effectively and efficiently providing investigative support services for claims lodged against the Road Accident Fund (RAF).

- Trace insured driver/ witnesses to consult and obtain statements and docket.

Administer and Coordinate Project Key Activities and Documentation
- Compile list of all the activities relating to the project.
- Partner with the relevant stakeholder/s to ensure that the ongoing projects are conducted accurately in line to the defined project standards.
- Apply project management methodology and documentation tools for successful project coordination.
- Proactively carrying out project support/ administrative functions.
- Coordinate the establishing of project deadlines that are aimed at ensuring effective time management.
- Prepare the necessary documentation with the proposed recommendations and budgets for approval by stakeholder/s.
- Coordinate resources, equipment, meetings, and information requirements.
- Coordinate the project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
- Follow up on project deliverable to assist in ensuring that project is carried out as per the set guidelines.

- Organize, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Coordinate and ensure that all stakeholder views recorded are managed towards the best solution.
- Liaise with project stakeholders.
- Assist in the assessment of risk and challenges to the success of the project.
- Follow up on all the risks escalated for resolution.
- Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
- Update risk register for all projects
- Coordinate the project plan as per the budget set by the respective business unit.
- Compile expense reports and variance reports relating to allocated projects against budget.
- Monitor project costs against budget.
- Comply with policies and procedures in coordinating the project finances.
- Ensuring that all items sourced are received within the stipulated project schedule.
- Ensure that items received are in good quality and the right quantity.
- Compile project report as per standards and templates.
- Ensure proper record keeping for all projects in line with the RAF filling plan.
- Provide periodic status reports for the projects.
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 related qualification to discipline.
- Relevant 3 - 4 years' experience in Project Management Environment of which one (1) year must have been in area of expertise.
- Customer service experience is required.
- Experience in PMBOK.
- Experience in Prince 2 will be an added advantage.
