Purpose of the Job: Reporting to the Manager: Internal Communication, the successful incumbent is responsible for contributing to the overall implementation of the Internal Communication Strategy.
Key Performance Areas
Facilitate, Coordinate and Implement Communication Strategy
- Introduce fresh and strategic thought leadership to improve the organisation's communication efforts.
- Explore innovative, cost-efficient ways of engaging with internal stakeholders to enlarge the scope and influence of communications in the organisation's strategy.
- Provide writing and editing support for all communication materials.
- Provide post-analysis of internal campaigns.
- Design and implementation of the internal networking platforms to boost staff morale and improve internal reputation management.
- Render comprehensive assistance to other business units within the RAF.
- Create and upload news content for the intranet, website, and other electronic platforms.
Produce and Design Content/ Articles for Various RAF Announcements and Publications
Community Mobilisation
Produce and Design Content/ Articles for Various RAF Announcements and Publications
- Produce content for various RAF publications to promote the RAF brand, as well as its services and events.
- Conduct interviews and research for various RAF articles and publications.
- Layout and design of articles and publications for uploading and distribution on various communication platforms.
Community Mobilisation
- Coordinate the design and production of mobilisation materials, including pamphlets, posters, banners, and other promotional announcements.
- Engage stakeholders about RAF events and distribute said communication materials timeously.
- Take photos of events and activities for internal and external usage.
- Ensure proper storage of photographs (image bank).
- Share photographs with internal and external stakeholders.
- Feedback and reporting to Manager: Internal Communication, and Senior Manager: Internal Communication, on monthly deliverables.
- Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Diploma @ NQF Level 7 in Communications.
- Relevant 5 -7 years' experience in a Communication environment of which 2 years must have been on a supervisory level.

Remuneration
Total cost to company applicable to this position is minimum R668 907.00 per annum, negotiable.
NB: "RAF offers Total Employment Cost packages with no additional contributions from the Employer, successful candidates are required to structure their packages in a manner that will suit their needs".
