Key Performance Areas
Work based exposure may include any of the following:
  • Direct Claims – Mobile RAF, supplier claims and direct claims processing. 
  • Claims Origination – Customer Service Centre, Registration of new claims and Verification and Validation of new claims.
  • Claims Determination – Merits investigation and assessment and Represented Claims
  • Claims Litigation, summons, writ and panel management 
  • Claims Finalisation – Legal cost, payments and file closure
  • General office administration, filing and data capturing related to the claims administration process.

Qualifications and other Requirements
  • Certified Grade 12/ NQF 4 level certificate
  • Certified copy of Relevant Bachelor's Degree at NQF Level 7, Legal Qualification will be an added advantage
  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy Academic transcript

The Road Accident Fund's mission is to provide appropriate cover to all road users within the borders of South Africa; to rehabilitate and compensate persons injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents in a timely and caring manner; and to actively promote safe use of our roads

LOCATION: Durban

Purpose of the Internship: The Road Accident Fund is committed to youth skills development by providing graduates with an opportunity to gain work-based experience. Applications are invited for the ICT Internship for unemployed graduates between the age of 18 and 35. The Internship program will run for a period of eighteen (18) months.
 
Work based exposure may include the following.
  • Manage IT incidents and requests (incidents and requests).
  • Provide daily operations support and maintenance for network and telephone infrastructure (1st line support).
  • Maintain and update a register of all IT assets.
  • Manage VC requests.
  • Monthly and weekly reports on system availability.
  • Supervise preventative maintenance of printers.
  • Establish connection and access to printers for all users.
  • Conduct troubleshooting, maintenance, upgrades, and other activities required for efficient working of computer systems.
  • Setup new users and configure new equipment.
  • Undertake maintenance and repairs on damaged and repairable hardware.
  • Provide software and hardware configuration according to business requirements.
  • Ensure IT Service availability and continuity.
  • Provide ICT support for RAF road shows
 
Qualifications and other Requirements
  • Certified copy of Grade 12 / Matric certificate
  • Certified copy of relevant NQF 6 / NQF 7 Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Degree in ICT or related to discipline.  
  • Certified copy of your ID
  • Certified copy of Academic transcript
  • Your CV and motivational letter

Remuneration
Interns will be awarded a monthly stipend.
