PURPOSE:Ensure long term financial health of Pikitup by taking part in all strategies, policies, tactics and projects the organization is embarking on. EXECUTIVE MANAGER: LEGAL AND COMPLIANCE (REF 2) Contact type: 5 Years Fixed Term Contract • Position Level: F1 PURPOSE: Provide direction and strategi4 advice on the conduct of business to ensure that the development of strategies and corporate planning are in line with sound corporate governance principles and that the Board of Directors fulfil their statutory requirements • To ensure that Pikitup maintains excellent standards of corporate governance • To act as a point of communication between the board of directors and company shareholders, reporting in a timely and accurate manner on company procedures and developments • To provide strategic direction and support to the organisation regarding compliance, environmental management practices, risk management, safety and to ensure legal support so that Pikitup can deliver on its mandate and comply with the law at all times. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: LLB degree, commercial specialisation would be an advantage • CIS membership is preferable • 8 to 10-years' experience in a legal management environmental in a public sector organisation of which at least 5 years on an executive management/strategic level • 5-years' experience in corporate governance, risk management, environmental and waste management, legislative compliance and in-depth understanding of legislation governing local government • MFMA minimum competency level units standards. EXECUTIVE MANAGER: HUMAN RESOURCES (REF 3) Contact type: 5 Years Fixed Term Contract • Position Level: F1 PURPOSE: To manage and give strategic direction to Human Resources (HR) functions to ensure a smooth and productive operation of Pikitup and management of an organisation with over 5000 employees • Provide high level administrative, strategic planning and operational support, research and advice to senior management on administrative matters such as staff management and financial planning • Develop administrative staff to ensure smooth business operations and the provision of accurate and timely information representing the organisation in negotiations, and at conventions, seminars, public hearings and forums, and promoting existing and new programmes and policies. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Relevant lost graduate degree in business management/HR management • In-depth understanding of Human Resources services functions • 10 years relevant experience • 5 to 7-years' executive management experience • MFMA minimum competency level units standards. GENERAL MANAGER: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (REF 4) Position Level: E1 PURPOSE: To strategise, implement and manage supply chain management within Pikitup • To make procurement decision to the value threshold; expenditure decisions within budget and staffing decisions within company policy parameters • To change procedures or methods within SCM without approval and to initiate policy changes for Board approval. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: B Com degree or relevant qualification • MBA or equivalent would be an advantage • 8 years' experience in Supply Chain Management with 3 years' managerial experience • Exposure to the Municipal Finance Management Act and Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act • MFMA minimum competency level units standards. 1. Whereas, for an "existing official" the conditional exemption contemplated most be included as a performance target in the official's performance agreement.
