ASSISTANT MANAGER – WAREHOUSE AND DISTRIBUTION
Location: Nelspruit, Mpumalanga
Reports to: Supply Chain Manager
Key Performance Areas:
- Ensuring adequate, fully utilised warehousing facilities and the time and accurate execution of the dispatch
- Secretariat of the WOF PPE/PPC Committee
- Logistics governance: control of processes in compliance with requirements (including SHE; maintaining and managing inventory status and control
- Responsible for warehouse operations
- Rolling stock count
- Training and development of all warehouse staff
- Logistics management
- Reporting
Requirements:
Required qualifications
- 3-Year Diploma or Degree in Finance/Logistics/Supply Chain/Warehousing and Distribution/Business Administration
Required experience
- 5+ years’ relevant experience in warehouse management
Additional:
- Strong report writing and presentation skills
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Analytical and innovative skills
- Work-focused, self-driven, goal oriented, excellent planning and organising
- Advanced communication (written and verbal)
- Computer literacy
- Drivers licence
- Own laptop and 3G connection
- Own cell phone
