SALARY: R242 475 per annum (Level 07)

REQUIREMENTS: Senior Certificate (Grade 12) with a minimum of 6 years experience in an administrative environment. Recommendations: An appropriate 3-year tertiary qualification (National Diploma/B-Degree); A minimum of 3 years in an administrative environment. Competencies: Knowledge of the following: Programme and Project Management methodologies; Departmental strategic alignment processes; Technical aspects of the Executive Projects Dashboard; Departmental budgeting and planning policies; Departmental performance management systems and processes; Ability to handle conflict; Ability to handle rapidly changing environment and pressurised circumstances; Communication (written and verbal) skills in at least two of the three official languages of the Western Cape.
DUTIES: Provide support to ensure the consistent application of programme and project management methodologies and standards; Support the alignment of departmental programmes and projects correspondence with their original strategic intent and scope; Provide technical assistance to programme/project managers; Administer the Executive Projects Dashboard (EPD) at the departmental level; Provide support for departmental programme/project assurance and reporting; Provide administrative support to the sub-directorate.
