(NC(V)) (PL1)
SALARY: R270 498 – R351 972 plus 37% in lieu of benefits
DURATION: June 2025 – 31 December 2025
SITE: IT and Computer Science Centre (Mahwelereng)
Requirements:
Grade 12 or NC(V) Level 4 plus a relevant three-year Degree/Diploma in Tourism/Hospitality and Client Services * Professional teaching qualification * One - two years of experience in teaching and learning environment * Teaching experience in a TVET College will be an added advantage * Sound subject knowledge and work-related applications * Excellent communication and command of English (written & verbal) * Computer skills in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet) * Must be registered with SACE * Competencies: Good planning, administration, organising and presentation skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Teach Client Services NC(V) L2-L4 for Hospitality/Tourism Programmes * Prepare lesson plans and lecture students in compliance with college academic plans and DHET ICASS guidelines, timetable and college quality management systems. * Assess students' performance and maintain assessment records in compliance with college policies, processes, and procedures * Continuously monitor and analyse students' performance and provide critical feedback in an objective and professional manner * Invigilate examinations, mark scripts and ensure timeous submission of student marks * Relate to and support students in a professional manner * Create a conducive classroom environment and ensure efficient classroom management and discipline of students * Manage student attendance and administration of documents * Work collaboratively with student support services for student development.
