The University of the Western Cape's Institutional Planning Department invites applications for the position of Coordinator: Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). The incumbent will be pivotal in managing, analysing, and coordinating the monitoring and evaluation activities related to the University’s DHET-funded Sibusiso Bengu Development and other key institutional grants.
The successful candidate will coordinate the collection and management of implementation evidence, facilitate the ongoing improvement of M&E plans, and the gathering of appropriate data to support accurate and timely reporting of information. The successful incumbent will be expected to, inter alia:

- Recommend and participate in the development of University policies and procedures; may serve on university planning and policy-making committees;

- Ensure the strategic management and development of sport facilities and support services.
Minimum Requirements
Qualification and Experience:
- Master’s degree or equivalent professional qualification (NQF 9)
- A minimum 10 years' relevant experience at a managerial level, with extensive knowledge and experience in the strategic management of multiple sporting codes
- Extensive knowledge of and engagement with regional, provincial and national sport structures
- Record of successful recruitment of athletes and coaches, as well as the initiation of partnership/sponsorship agreements
- Proven record of good financial and operational planning and management
