DISCIPLINE OF PUBLIC HEALTH MEDICINE

The Cancer & Infectious Diseases Epidemiology Research Unit (CIDERU), housed in the Discipline of Public Health Medicine (DPHM) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the position of Cancer Information Officer for the Multinational Lung Cancer Control Program (MLCCP). The candidate will primarily be based at Addington Hospital, Durban. The project end date is 31st January 2026. 
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Matric certificate or Grade 12. 
• Minimum one-year experience in collecting information on new cancer cases. 
• Minimum one-year experience in data capturing or administration. 
• One year of experience in data abstraction and entry into an electronic database using Tablets. 
• Computer literacy. 
• Good Administrative skills.
