DIRECTORATE: INFRASTRUCTURE AND PLANNING DEPARTMENT
 
PROJECT MANAGER: MAINTENANCE
FIVE (05) FIXED TERM CONTRACT
TOTAL PACKAGE: R 726 738, 12 PER ANNUM
 
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: - Grade 12 • Three (03) Degree/ National Diploma in Civil Engineering (NQF Level 07) and or equivalent qualification • 3 to 5 years' relevant experience in particularly at supervisory level Local Government environmental particularly • Registration with ECSA and SACPM or eligible for registration • Must have valid code B driving Licence • Strong supervision skills and interpersonal skills • Project Management Certificate, Auto CAD or any other design programme will be an added advantage.
 
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS: - Project management • Design tender preparations and adjudications • Conduct site meetings and supervision of service providers • Conduct site meetings and supervision of service provider • Ensure budget and control for all projects • Representation in the council, Standing committees and other meetings. Ensure maintenance of all projects, municipal Buildings, Streetlights, Plant and construction equipment and streets belonging to Umzimvubu Municipality • Supervision of Staff.
