MANAGER: INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY (ICT) SECURITY AND RISK MANAGEMENT

Requirements
• An appropriate, recognised 3 or 4 degree/diploma in (ICT) Security and/or equivalent. ? One or combination of ICT Security certification(s) in CISSP, CCSP, CISM, SRISC, CSP, CBCP, or CISA. ? At least 3 to 5 years’ managerial experience. • A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ actual working experience in ICT Security. •A minimum of 5 to 7 years’ experience in ICT security and/or Minimum Information Security Standards • 5 to 6 years of experience in an ICT Risk, Control and Audit environment. • 5 to 6 years of experience in ICT environment. •3 to 5 years’ Sound knowledge of Enterprise architecture framework (TOGAF; Zachman; FEAF; MODAF; GWEA Framework; MIOS. • Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS •Experience in working with Governance Processes and Standards (ISO 9001; ISO 27001/ 27002; ISO 12207 (SDLC); ISO 42010; COBIT; ITIL; UML).• Strong knowledge of computer fundamentals which include MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Project • Passion to support improving operations, ICT governance, policy creations and reviews. • Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
 
Duties
• As part of the operational risk management, the IT risk manager is responsible for ensuring the deployment of policies and procedures, and, in coordination with the different stakeholders. • Implementation and maintain of an efficient risk framework • Assisting Umalusi teams in identification and assessment of ICT risks including regulatory questionnaires and industry standard and maturity assessment. •Managing ICT risk findings resulting from production incidents, application and ICT infrastructure security risk assessment • Provide training to end users • Monthly progress reporting on activities and assigned projects. • Presentation, communication, writing and administrative skills. •Manage the budget of the sub-unit.

INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY: SHAREPOINT DEVELOPER CONTRACTOR

Requirements
• Three( 3) national diploma in Information and Communication Technology and/or equivalent qualification • 3 years appropriate practical ICT experience in developing Microsoft SharePoint applications and performing administrative maintenance on SharePoint • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, Web Parts, and workflow creation • Hands-on development and delivery of web-based applications • Microsoft SharePoint Online • Microsoft SharePoint Designer • Microsoft online Services including O365 • Microsoft SQL Server • High-level coding skills • Web development experience and knowledge of .NET Frameworks • Familiarity with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, XML, jQuery, SQL Server, and Web Services • Experience in SDLC and software development methodologies • Microsoft SharePoint Certification shall be considered as an added advantage.
 
Duties
• Develop projects from start to finish on Microsoft SharePoint • Supporting users with all aspects of SharePoint utilization • Updating and management of SharePoint Sites • Administration of SharePoint Online and certain aspects of O365 admin • Developing customized applications • Development using Microsoft Power Apps • Implement Microsoft SharePoint-based workflows as well as to design, develop and maintain key components utilizing SharePoint Online • System integration development and management • Develop prototypes and create robust production ready applications • Develop intranet-based applications using platform • Creating and maintaining reports, dashboards, workflows, approvals, and alerts • Responsible for ensuring that all applications development efforts meet and or exceed client expectations • Testing • Provide training to end users • Weekly progress reporting on activities assigned.

JUNIOR ICT INFRASTRUCTURE AND USER SUPPORT TECHNICIANS (X2 POSITIONS)

Requirements
• An appropriate 3 years Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma (NQF Level 6/7) in Information and Communication Technology: Infrastructure and User Support Management or equivalent qualification. • 2 to 3 years of experience in the field of ICT infrastructure and user support management. • A minimum of at least two of the following industry-recognized certifications, A+, N+, and Security+. • MCITP, Azure Certification, and ITIL will be an added advantage. • Good communication, problem-solving, ICT infrastructure support, and customer relationship skills. • Advanced competence in M365 office suite (e.g. MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Access). • The successful candidate must be adaptable, disciplined, self-confident, able to work independently and under pressure, and ability to work with a diverse team. • Good writing, communication, and interpersonal relationship skills are essential along with experience in database administration and management, and service level agreements management will be an added advantage. • Day-to-day support of the business and resolution of any incidents. Maintenance of existing technologies.
 
Duties
• To provide Local Area Network and Desktop Support Services. • To provide support to SITA transversal systems and projects. • To provide technical advice to Supply Chain Management and users on ICT equipment. • Provide notebook and mobile devices (iPads and tablets) support. • Monitor and perform health checks on the network. Analyse and resolve technical problems on the network. • Perform configuration management on the network. • Administer the entire Microsoft Network Environment. • To assist in administering the Microsoft Active Directory and all related systems and services. • Assist in managing the Storage Area Network and maintenance of servers. • Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems. • Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment. • Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.). • Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes and maintenance schedule. Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders. • Develop and maintain local networks in ways that optimise performance. • Ensure that the necessary network services are available to officials when required to perform their duties. • Provide technical support to the customers/end-users and solve their problems. • ICT helpdesk services by providing first-level contact and conveying resolutions to customer issues; Register incidents, classify and be able to prioritise; escalate unresolved queries to the next level of support. • Provide communication to clients regarding the progress of incidents; and Track, route and redirect problems to correct resources.
