The Directorate of Sport and Recreation seeks to appoint a Part-time Football Coach at Ga-Rankuwa Campus for the period of 6 months from 1 November 2024 to 31 May 2025.
Critical Performance Areas
• To coach TUT Ga-Rankuwa Football Teams in SAFA Local League and other football related competitions.
• Planning, organising and executing practice sessions according to the needs and demands of the team.
• Plan and organize trials for talent identification and recruitment of new players to the club.
• Mentoring players and resolve team issues.
• Provide reports on development of players, matches etc;
Minimum Requirements
1. Academic qualifications
• Matric. Post Matric qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Caf D license, Caf C license will be an added advantage
• Basic First Aid qualifications Level 1 or 2;
2. Experience
• Coaching experience at Club, District or Provincial Level
• Coaching in USSA/Varsity Football/Competitions will be an added advantage
• Proficiency in English
• Computer Literacy
Other special requirements
• Code 8 or 10 Driver’s license;

The Directorate of Library and Information Services has Part-Time Information Librarian/Training Librarian positions for Durban Learning Site.
Critical Performance Areas:
• Responsibility for the effective and efficient operation of the Library during the day, evenings and Saturdays
• Provision of information services to Library clients by: - Answering information inquiries and
- Conducting literature searches
• Performance of administrative duties such as the compilation of monthly reports
• Provision of effective and efficient training to staff and students
• Responsibility for the safety, health and environment of the library
Minimum Requirements:
• Degree in Library and Information Science or relevant equivalent qualification (NQF Level 7)
• Must be prepared to work for at least 4 hours per day (Monday-Friday and Saturday)
• Three years’ relevant experience
• Extensive and proven knowledge of electronic databases utilised by academic libraries
• Experience in managing a library or a section/division of a library
• Experience in information literacy training
• Good communication and customer relations skills
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in English
• Own transport.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Information resources and systems
• Collection management process and tools
• Information literacy training
• Knowledge of library systems
• Utilisation of electronic information resources
• Report writing skills.
