Key performance areas/Core functions: 
• Design, plan and prepare experimental work (first year to Advanced Diploma). 
• Assist academic staff with supervision of practical work in the laboratories (first year to Advanced Diploma). 
• Preparation of reagents for undergraduate practical class for Water and Wastewater analysis. 
• Administering undergraduate practical reports. 
• Assist in the maintenance of laboratory safety. 
• Calibration of laboratory equipment. 
• Safety Management, inspections and regular safety risk assessments. 
 
Minimum requirements: 
• BTech or Postgraduate Diploma in Water Care or Water Science and Technology. 
• At least two years of tutoring and/or research experience at a tertiary institution will be required and/or industry-related experience.

Minimum Requirements
1. Academic qualifications:
• A Master’s Degree (NQF Level 9) in Business Management, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship or related Management Sciences field.
2. Experience:
• Three years of teaching experience at a tertiary institution and/or three years of relevant industry-related experience will be required.
• For Entrepreneurship-related subjects, at least three years of experience in business coaching & mentorship.
• For Research Supervision, proven track record of supervising masters and doctorate to completion.
• Proficiency in MS Office and other teaching and learning technology software.
• Full proficiency in English is a prerequisite.
• Completing a TUT License to Teach programme will be compulsory once appointed.
