PART TIME LECTURER (LANDSCAPE TECHNOLOGY)
(PART-TIME Contract)

The department of Horticulture requires the services of a Part - time Lecturer (Landscape Technology) at Pretoria campus.
 
Key performance areas/Core functions
  • Teaching and Learning in the discipline of Design in Landscape Technology and Construction in landscape technology: Autocad drawing, site planning, design and construction.
  • Responsible for academic and administrative tasks relating to the learning programmes of the subject Landscape Technology.
  • Participate in departmental, Faculty and Institutional activities.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s Degree (NQF 9) in Landscape Technology or related field. 
  • Two years part-time teaching in Landscape Technology/Landscape Architecture and landscape design.
  • Experience and knowledge of Autocad programmes for landscape design.

Minimum Requirements
  • Post Graduate Diploma Landscape Technology or related field. 
  • Tutor experience in the design and construction field for two years.

  • Knowledge on urbanization and the impact on daily lives and the environment, natural resources management, rehabilitation, environmental impact assessments and environmental legislation is key.
