Minimum Requirements:
Academic qualifications:
▪ Relevant master’s degree in computing/computer science/software development.
Experience:
▪ 3 years teaching experience in a tertiary environment or 3 years industry experience.
▪ Knowledge of the use of ITS will be an advantage.
▪ Excellence in written, oral, and electronic communication skills.
▪ Good command of the subject area
Key performance areas/Core functions:
▪ Teaching of subjects in the ICT Faculty at eMalahleni Campus.
▪ Participating in curriculum development.
▪ Perform administrative tasks related to teaching and learning and other functions of an academic department at a University of Technology.
▪ Involvement in community engagement projects of the department.
▪ Involvement in specific departmental activities e.g., such as Faculty research days,
▪ Departmental meetings, Open days, Registration, Orientation etc.
▪ Lecturing duties: Lecturing, Invigilating, and Marking of Scripts, Processing of Marks.
▪ Any other duty assigned by the Academic Manager.
