JOB SPECIFICATION/MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Qualification
- A relevant Master’s Degree (NQF L9) in the field of Psychology.
Professional registration
- Registration as a psychologist (educational or counselling) with the HPCSA.
Experience (minimum)
- 3 years of relevant experience in rendering psychological services to higher education students.

Knowledge
- Counselling portfolios related to psychological support focus areas: Professional knowledge of skills development and support functions: human behavior: counselling (individual, group), psycho-education
- Counselling portfolios related to academic development focus areas: Professional knowledge of remedial support work
