The Tshwane School for Business and Society at the Pretoria campus, 1204 Park Street, Ditsela Place, Hatfield, Pretoria, requires the services of a part-time Student Assistant (19 hours per week) 
 
1. Job Summary: 
The Student Assistant will provide the TSB Director with administrative support and contributing to the efficient operation of his office.
 
2. Critical Performance Areas: 
• Provide administrative support to TSB Director, ensuring smooth daily operations. 
• Coordinate and manage Directors schedules, meetings, and appointments. 
• Handle confidential information with the highest degree of integrity. 
• Facilitate communication between executives, team members, and external stakeholders. 
• Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and other business documents. 
• Manage office correspondence and ensure timely responses to inquiries. 
• Assist in organizing travel arrangements, events, and other logistical tasks. 
• Support in managing office systems, filing, and documentation processes. 
 
3. Minimum Requirements: 
• Postgraduate Diploma in Administrative Information Management or Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration. 
 
4. Experience: 
• Proven experience as a Student/Administration Assistant. 
• Sound knowledge of office management systems and procedures. 
 
5. Knowledge and Skills 
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• High level of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
• Proficient in office softwares (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite). 
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively.

NETBALL COACH
SPORT AND RECREATION

The Directorate of Sport & Recreation has a part time- position for a Netball Coach at Pretoria Campus. 
NB: The position has been identified and intended for all internal and external candidates. 
 
INSTRUCTIONS: Applicants are required to submit together with the CVs, a standardized application form available from the university intranet as well as recently certified copies of qualifications and Identity Document. Failure to comply with this instruction will disqualify the candidate. 
 
Key performance areas: 
 
Minimum Requirements: 
• Matric. Post matric qualification will be an added advantage. 
• NSA Level 1 Accreditation (effective/ valid) or Higher will be an added advantage. 
• Coaching experience at Club, District or Provincial level. 
• Coaching in Super League/ Provincial/Competitions will be an added advantage. 
• Proficiency in English. 
• Computer Literacy. 
• Basic first aid qualification level 1 or 2. 
• Code 8 or 10 Driver’s license. 
• Any candidate would be considered; 
• No criminal record. 
 
Duties:
• To coach the Pretoria Netball Team in the Leagues, Super League, and other related competitions. 
• Planning, organizing and executing practice sessions according to the needs and demands of the team. 
• Plan and organize trials for talent identification and recruitment of new players to the club. 
• Promoting fair play. 
• Resolving team issues and mentoring players. 
• Be an example to the other technical team members and players to provide a positive atmosphere. 
• Provide reports on development of players, matches, etc. 
 
Knowledge & skills: 
• Be assertive and professional. 
• Organised and able to meet deadlines. 
• Be responsible for assessing the performance of the players under your expert direction. 
• Responsible for teamwork and team building or management. 
• Be in charge of developing tactics and training activities. 
• Leadership attributes. 
• Ability to manage/communicate effectively with players and administrators. 
• Report writing. 
• Thorough knowledge of Netball structures and policies of NSA; Comply with the NSA Coaches Code of Behaviour Ability to work under pressure. 
• Nature of work requires after hours and weekend duties/responsibilities. 
• Willingness to develop his/her coaching skills further through courses and workshops
