A Part-time lecturer is needed for Semester 1 of 2024 (Jan-Jun) for the following Post Graduate Diploma Subject.
 
Code - Subjects
OEN118G -  Ontology Engineering
 
 Key performance areas/Core functions: 
  • Preparing all lecturer materials, assessments, and related documents 
  • Presenting lecturers and assessing students in the department 
  • Performing administration of marks and other related administrative duties under subject head and HoD supervision. 
 
Minimum requirements: 
Academic qualifications: 
  • Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent qualification. 
 
Experience: 
  • A minimum of one year teaching experience or one year Industry experience 
  • Relevant knowledge in the subject area applied for 
 
Registration with professional body (if applicable):  N/A

PART-TIME LECTURER (X2)
ICT 1st Years and Foundation Unit

 Key performance areas/Core functions: 
  • To provide remedial Lecturing duties for the extended/ foundation curriculum provision in the areas of computational mathematics and/or programming in line with the faculty's teaching strategy. 
  • Other lecturing duties e.g., invigilating, marking scripts, processing marks, on the learning management system, assessment/ moderate, online material development, and video development. 
  • Attend activities of the Unit e.g., meetings, mentorship, tutorship, panel interviews, workshops, events, etc. 
  • Establish/ participate in ICT-related community engagement project(s). 
  • Other relevant academic duties as required by the unit/academic manager e.g., curriculum review and development, module coordination, and content development. 
 
Minimum requirements: 
Academic qualifications: 
  • B Tech Degree/Honors Degree/Postgraduate Diploma in Computing or relevant qualification with Math and/or Programming in Java. 
 
Experience:
  • 1-year lecturing experience in Mathematics and/or Programming. 
  • Experience in foundation-level teaching is a strong recommendation
