The Tshwane School for Business and Society (TSB) is in search of an innovative Marketing and Projects Co-oordinator to assist with the Marketing and coordination of Executive Education and other projects in the school. The position is based at TSB, 159 Nana Sita Street, in Pretoria CBD.
 
Critical Performance Areas
  • Evaluating and optimizing marketing strategies.
  • Increasing brand awareness and market share.
  • Conceptualizing and designing marketing collateral.
  • Managing social media pages, including content design and posting. 
  • Developing the marketing budget and reporting on marketing ROI.
  • Brand development and alignment to focus areas and consistency across all touch points. 
  • Stakeholder engagement – act as the point of contact and communicate project status to all participants.
  • The Coordination of Executive Development Programmes offered by the School.
  • Execute project management administrative tasks such as managing invoices and 
            purchase orders, among other financial documents.
  • Report on project expenditures/transactions.
 
Minimum Requirements
• A Master's degree in Marketing/Business Management/Project Management  
 
Experience
• 1 year or 2 years work experience preferably in marketing and/or project coordination.
 
Essential Knowledge and Skills
• Demonstrable experience in marketing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. 
• Budget-management skills and proficiency. 
• Tech savvy, proficient in MS Office and familiarity with the latest technologies. 
• Solid organizational skills, including multitasking and time-management.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.

TSB Executive Education Product Lead and Project Manager

The Tshwane School for Business and Society (TSB) is seeking an innovative and experienced academic with extensive Executive Education Experience to lead and oversee the development of executive education programmes at TSB. The position is based at TSB, 159 Nana Sita Street, in Pretoria CBD.
The successful candidate must have solid lecturing experience and be knowledgeable of the development and quality assurance of online Executive Education Products. In addition to product development, he/she will undertake various administrative and program management tasks. These will include effectively managing the development and operationalising of programmes according to TUT policies and standards.
 
Critical Performance Areas
  • The development of Online Executive and Continuing Education Programs for the TSB.
  • Determine Market and Product Focus for programs to be offered by TSB.
  • Oversee program design and development in partnership with the TSB staff and the relevant departments in TUT which include the quality, financial, operational, and administrative aspects, with keen attention to and the responsibility for success in both content delivery and program logistics.
  • Work closely with customers, faculty, and staff to develop and to design and where necessary customise a portfolio of non-degree programs based on customer needs and requirements.
  • Assist the TSB Director with establishing non-degree program strategies, objectives, long-term goals, department policies and procedures consistent with TSB and University goals and policies.
  • Provides operational management and quality control oversight to TSB’s Executive Education and Continuing Education programs.
  • Oversees implementation of new systems, processes, and policies and streamlines existing ones to improve program support and delivery for all programs.
 
Minimum Requirements
  • An MBA and a relevant Doctoral degree. 
 
Experience
  • A track record of lecturing at the MBA level,
  • At least five years’ experience in academic and /or executive and continuing education positions,
  • Based on the nature of the envisaged online Executive Education programmes, registration as a Professional Industrial Psychologist will be advantageous.
 
Essential Knowledge and Skills
  • Demonstrable and extensive experience in the development and presentation of  Executive Development Programmes,
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, 
  • Ability to think creatively and innovatively,

The lecturer in the Department of Technology and Vocation Education, in the School of Education, is an academic leader responsible for teaching and managing activities of teaching and learning and assist with curricula developments in relation to the MRTEQ requirements of the department including that he/she:
Must be able each the above-mentioned subjects at postgraduate level with specialization in the FET learning area.
 
It will be expected that the candidate should:

  • Teach the foundations of the above-mentioned subjects and situational learning at postgraduate level.
  • Compile a study guide according to the prescribed level descriptors for the subjects.
  • Participate in departmental administration activities which include compiling of three examination papers, the compiling of continuous assessment activities and tests, marking of scripts, entering of marks on ITS and giving prompt student feedback.
  • Participate in re-curriculation processes concerning the School of Education.
