Position Purpose
Responsible to provide a single point of contact for Information Communication Technology (ICT) support for end-users within TP. This includes providing technical support for desktop computers and other IT equipment’s, troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring new software and hardware, and providing training to users on how to use IT equipment’s. To work with other IT staff such as Group ICT and 3rd parties to troubleshoot and resolve outsourced ICT services and equipment’s. To provide first-line support for the TP core operations applications, facilitate the process for the users gain access and assist to navigate through the application.
 
Position Outputs
•Ensure uptime of business application and services such as SAP, Office 365, network, internet and reliability of equipment’s used. •Provide first line support for desktops, printers and mobile devices which includes user accounts and roles management, assisting users with basic screen navigation support and reporting. Using hardware and software tools effectively to ensure efficient business processes. •Ensure uptime of servers, IT equipment’s and critical TP systems. •Ensure backup of user data on Microsoft One Drive •Management of backup tapes and off-site storage areas.
•Maintain and manage ICT security systems and data to ensure maximum availability. •The provision of technical support service for TP by analysing, diagnosing and resolving simple and complicated problems software/hardware/ network/ in-house business application software/ server problems and issues that clients experience. •To procure repairs and maintenance and replacement of ICT equipment’s and goods and services to ensure a reduced downtime by ensuring availability of equipment.
•Direct quality assurance testing of new processes or systems and Research and Development testing of new software and hardware to check usability and benefits to TP. •Distribution of systems downtimes, ICT Tips within the TP to assist end-user with basic computing. •Install, configure and repair network printers, non-network printers and plotters for end-users and manage printer cartridge replacements and stock replenishments.
•Setup, configure and repair video conferencing facilities, boardroom equipment’s (projectors, microphones, tele-conference devices, pointers) and digital signage connectivity issues at all TP sites. •Install and configure equipment’s and external Clients’ hardware for special projects and training sessions.
•First line support of all functions that are outsourced to third parties – Operational systems, Printers, network, audio visual, VC, Ops Centres, Voice recording •Equipment and Computer room maintenance and management- Physical and Electronically. •Updating and maintaining of Software license and Hardware inventories.
•Desktop capacity planning including monitoring of user disk usage on servers and mailbox sizes to ensure availability of services. •Manage all faults and request that logged to ensure that an acceptable MTTR is maintained. •Management and control of all ICT loan equipment. •Provide multifunctional desktop support in terms of hardware, software, servers, printers, multimedia, networking, and mobility.
•Manage and maintain ICT service performance. •Ensure safety & security within ICT environment. •Ensure that legislation requirements and practices are adhered to.
•Assist employees on how to use several types of systems. •Document technical knowledge in the knowledge base for the other analysts and to assist the helpdesk team. •Follow up with clients to make sure their computer systems are functioning properly after troubleshooting. •Assist employees with proper logging of all issues. •Keep track of user's systems issues until they are resolved by adhering to the agreed timelines.

Position Purpose
The primary purpose of the position is to maintain the safety of the organization's ICT systems and networks as well as providing cyber security architecture to enable the business to achieve its strategic outcomes. The position entails creating, testing, implementing and analysing the effectiveness of various security systems as well as preventing data breaches, monitoring and reacting to attacks.
The incumbent will be required to evaluate the security posture of the organisations internal and external networks, applications, sensitive internal systems, mobile device application and data coding standards. The incumbent will also emulate threat actors attempting to penetrate the organisations network and complete defined objectives, such as obtaining domain admin privileges, gaining access to sensitive information, or simulating a ransomware attack which will be used to strengthen the organisations security posture.
The incumbent will also provide cyber security architecture services to enable the business to achieve its strategic outcomes.
 
Position Outputs
1. Information and Cyber Security Strategy Contribute to the definition, development, and oversight of the organisation's security management strategy and framework.

2. Information Security
Ensure technology, processes, and governance are in place to monitor, detect, prevent, and react to both current and emerging technology / security threats against the organisation

5. Data/Information Security and Loss Prevention Management (incl. Encryption)
Explain the purpose of and provide advice and guidance on the application and operation of physical, procedural, and technical security controls.
Act as a cyber security lead in technology controls / information security for project teams, and the organisation. Provide technical expertise, training and advisory services in vulnerability management and information systems security. Provide cyber security architecture reviews, recommendations, and consulting services to the teams.
Lead the conduct of red team exercises, penetration tests, web application and network vulnerability assessments for IT and OT systems.
Perform security risk, vulnerability assessments, and business impact analysis for medium and complex information systems.
Design, plan and execute threat actor simulation scenarios using complex adversarial Tactics, Techniques and Procedures (TTP).
Investigate suspected attacks and manage security incidents.
Use forensics where appropriate.

Qualifications and Experience

Position Purpose
The specification and design of IT solutions to meet defined business needs. Qualifications and Experience
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. Grade 12 with pure Mathematics and/ or Physical Science OTHER REQUIREMENTS: 2. Required Certifications: • COBIT Foundation. • TOGAF or Equivalent EA frameworks, and • ITIL Foundation or ITIL Service Management. • Requirements of trust and honesty in handling finances as per the national credit act amendment 19. • Must undergo Lifestyle audit. Experience: • 10 – 12 years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture or Domain Functions (Business Process, Application, Infrastructure and Data and Information, including architecture design and deployment, Technology/systems lifecycle management, Application and Infrastructure Planning and Roadmap, Agile-DevOPS and Scrum Methodology). • Minimum of 5 years at Senior Management.
