Position Purpose
Development/configuration of ICT solutions to meet business requirements effectively, efficiently, on time and with the required quality assurance.

Position Outputs
Contribute to Strategy and Planning by: •Working collaboratively with all ICT functional areas to ensure solutions can be consumed using innovative digital platforms. •Researching, analysing and designing proof-of-concept solutions using digital technologies •Assisting in the preparation and documentation of solution requirements and specifications for new solutions as well as existing digital solutions. •Assisting in preparation of documentation to enable handover of solutions to other support teams. •Researching on emerging application development best practices, languages and standards. •Participating in the delivery of Solution/Application Architecture deliverables. •Participating in the delivery of Integration Architecture deliverables. •Participating in the delivery of Enterprise Architecture deliverables
Participation in the Operational Management of the Application Development Environment by: •Cultivating and disseminating knowledge of application development best practices. •Producing quality technical specifications aligned with architectural standards. •Developing optimised digital and mobile solutions based on technical specifications. •Enhancing and improve existing solutions to become more digitally focused •Ensuring quality assurance on work delivered. •Performing unit testing. •Participating in integration testing and User Acceptance Testing. •Enabling continuous Integration and Deployment of Digital solutions using DevOps Principles. •Implementing Best Practice Standards. •Performing Production support of solutions (24/7). •Performing incident analysis and resolution.

Qualifications and Experience
•B Degree / National Higher Diploma OR National Diploma (NQF 6/7) in Information Technology • 5 - 8 years’ experience in direct or related specialized Development field Recognition of Competence •8 Years relevant and solid experience in supervising activities in ICT Department, diagnostic and quality of workflow and procedures; • lower-level certificates/qualification concerning quality execution of work, within the defined operating procedures, standards and working routines. Or provide technical guidance/expertise. Position Purpose
To manage the daily scheduling, planning, controlling, monitoring & tracking of projects to provide effective integrated project services to the TPT Capital Expenditure Programme
Ensuring that project cost and schedule tools are fully utilised and maintained to assist project managers to measure, forecast and track project related work.
Generate and compile suitable reports to effectively manage schedule, costs, change, risk and opportunity for each project.
Position Outputs
- Provide expert planning services in support of each project to meet the project objectives in line with the PLP and controls framework.
- Prepare detailed tracking schedules, bar charts, network diagrams, resource loading graphs and critical path analysis for projects using approved software.
- Prepare and present detailed monthly status report
- Assist project managers on their projects in terms of planning functions associated with activities under their function in support of achieving the weekly and monthly targets.
- Ensuring all documentation is in place to ensure compliance to control frameworks.
- Loading of information on SAP and tracking of contract payments.
- Responsible for the maintenance of appropriate project change control registers to enable the tracking of trends and pending changes.
- Quantify and assess changes by way of impacts to schedule, cost and risk.
- Co-ordinate and minute weekly/monthly project meetings.
- Responsible for the accuracy and integrity of project cost & schedule reports in terms of budget/baseline, commitments, expenditure/progress and forecasts.
Qualifications and Experience
Qualifications • Relevant diploma Minimum Years Relevant Experience: • 3 years' experience as a planner in a multi-disciplinary project environmental • Accreditation as a Project Scheduling Professional (PSP) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) is preferred. Or ROC Relevant qualification (NQF 5) Min 8 years’ experience relevant to the position applied for.

Position Purpose
To effectively execute and monitor the side trail dredging process as a vital activity of dredging operations integral for optimal production and to manage and oversee auxiliary tasks associated with various production and maintenance requirements.
Position Outputs
1. Managed side trail pipe process and operation: To ensure optimal production and the reduction of cycle times for maximum efficiency.
2. Maintained critical equipment: To monitor status of and repair depth indicator for side-trail and displacement systems and effect wide range of repairs and maintenance to dredge deck equipment including calibrations and to store, monitor and maintain critical spares levels for running maintenance of deck dredge and hopper equipment.
3. Dredging material: To initiate and advise Dredge Master on best possible pipe positioning for maximun effectiveness and accuracy and maximum dredged quantities.
4. Reclaimed material: Initiating and monitoring this sensitive process to prevent blockages by adjusting flows and communicating with shore based support. This includes overseeing the safe coupling of the floating line and the technique of rain bowing.
5. Maintenance of the entire system of sidetrail, pumps, winches etc (all the equipment that is used by the pipeman).
Qualifications and Experience
• Grade 12 (NQF 4) with Maths and Science or equivalent • Mechanical background would be advantageous • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience. Or • Demonstrated numeracy and literacy and should have passed Marine Dredging Mathematics and Physics Bridging Course Test, provided for Pipe Operator Training, and • 5 years’ relevant experience as a pipe operator.
Competencies
Knowledge required: • Mechanical background • First aid at sea certificate • Advance firefighting certificate • Restricted radiotelephone operators’ certificate (MARINE) • Personal safety and social responsibilities with personal survival techniques.
