​The modus operandi of the scammers here is common. As usual, the trick is to make a request for pumps or batteries which are normally rare and difficult to find.
 
A Google search will only reveal one supplier who is normally far from the offices that requires the goods.
For this scam, the scammers have chosen Kenan Flow pumps. A Google search reveals only one supplier based in Port Elizabeth.
 
The Closing Date for this Tuesday, 5 December 2017 before11:00 am.
 
Anybody foolish enough to fall for this scam will be told that their bid has been accepted and they need to make the delivery on time.
The will be asked to pay the pumps supplier as soon as possible so that delivery may take place on the purported date. They might also sent a letter of appointment or confirmation of the bid being accepted.
 
Should any payment be made t the given account. The money will be lost for good. The scammer will simply disappear and it will take a lot of more money and resources to find them. The money will be also gone by then.
 
Going that far with the scam only shows greed, arrogance, stupidity and corruption on the side of the affected party.
