EXECUTIVE MANAGER: ENTERPRISE-WIDE SUPPORT SERVICES

This is an invitation for suitable candidates to apply for the position of TCTA Executive Manager: Enterprise-wide Support Services (ESS).
 
The Executive Manager: ESS is a strategic leader who will spearhead the professional support services of TCTA, with an emphasis on strategic Information Technology. The Executive Manager: ESS will work closely with the CEO and Executive team to transform this business unit.
 
The Executive Manager: ESS is technically sound concerning IT and Project Management, whilst understanding and appreciating the value of engagements with TCTA stakeholders. These relationships will be managed resiliently and passionately by the Executive and will bring an appreciation for change management with them. Achievement through excellence is of personal importance to the incumbent and they thrive in a complex environment where obstacles are overcome positively. Experience as an Executive is critical whilst knowledge of state-owned enterprises will be advantageous. The Executive Manager: ESS is one of the main TCTA culture trendsetters and is respected by employees for their reputation of credibility, integrity and performance excellence.
 
Purpose of the Role:
• To provide vision, leadership and direction to the combined portfolios of Information Technology and Facilities & Logistics within TCTA, to strategically contribute to advancing and sustaining the business.
 
Key performance areas:
• Direct, manage and strategically position the combined portfolios within the ESS portfolio, in support of the business.
• Lead the ESS business unit to be a client-centric and value-add business unit.
• Lead the modernization and optimization of systems and processes in the business, towards organizational efficiency and information security.
• Ensure ESS operations and deliverables are fully aligned with the latest national policy and legislative requirements.
• Be a respected and responsible leader within the broader context of the business.
 
Requirements:
• Compulsory: Masters Qualification in Information Technology, minimum of 12 years in an appropriate managerial role, including at least three (3) years in a role equivalent to an Executive position. Project Management and successful implementation of large IT infrastructure projects.
• Advantageous: MBA/Leadership Development Programme.
