OD SPECIALIST
Location: Centurion
Division: HR & OD
Reports to: Senior Manager: Centre of Expertise, HR & OD
Nature of employment: 5 Year Fixed-term contract
Total Cost to Company: Market related
 
The purpose of this job is to, provide organisation wide support and influence the business value chain on key OD policies and processes, frameworks and models such as organizational, team and individual effectiveness, organisational wellness, change management, talent management processes, performance management and organisational design matters, in alignment to the strategic objectives of the business.

THE KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS OF THE ROLE IN FOCUS, ARE:
1. Organisational Effectiveness:
• Design and deliver organisation-wide effectiveness programmes at individual, team and organisational level in consultation with EXCO, Divisional Leaders and HRBP’s.
• Conduct data analysis and write diagnostics reports with relevant Organisational recommendations.
• Establish a project management and reporting framework for all OD initiatives.
 
2. Talent Management
• Manage & coordinate the organisation-wide People Management Capacitation Programme (PMCP)
• Establish a leadership development framework and programme management at individual, team/divisional and organisational level.
• Manage and improve the performance, succession processes as well as career pathing.
• Capacitate managers in performance and succession management.
• Provide support to the Snr Manager: COE, HR&OD in embedding a performance management culture.
• Provide support with reviewing related policies when necessary.
• Ensure implementation of Wellness Strategy
• Capacitate supervisors and managers to promote and manage wellness in their teams.
 
3. Organisational Design
• Compile information on TCTA’s organisational system and structure.
• Manage TCTA Assessment Practices: policy, framework, service provider coordination, facilitating assessment feedback, trends reporting and confidential record management.
 
4. Change Management
• Lead the development, execution and communication of integrated enterprise change strategies and frameworks that support the strategic objectives of the business,
• Establish a TCTA Change management framework and methodology shared across the business to build change capacity in the business,
• Implement the Culture Transformation Plan
 
5. Combined Assurance
• Risk identification and mitigation.
• Control environment (legislation, policies, procedure, and best practice).
• Manage service providers delivery against SLA.
• Budget management, reporting and monitoring.
 
REQUIREMENTS
• Masters degree in Industrial Psychology or related, and registered with HPCSA
• Change Qualification or Certification is preferred
• 8 years experience as an OD Specialist
• Experience and demonstrated working with large-scale Change projects is preferred
• Good communication skills – both written and verbal
• Highly Desired: Project Management, Coaching & Facilitation skills
