This internship position is based at Head Office in Durban.
 
INTERNSHIP
Business Unit: Knowledge Management

Competencies and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Economics/Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics, Master’s degree would serve as an added advantage. The candidate must be computer literate at an advanced level (Microsoft packages). Project management skills, knowledge of Sector Specific Industries and applicable legislation. 
 
Key Performance Areas (Among others) 

1. Develop a broad understanding of global economy, detailed understanding of the KZN and South African economy, economic policies, and priorities. 
2. Identify and introduce new potential project opportunities, project acquisition opportunities, and trade & investment opportunities. 
3. Manage processes to move projects from concept/ green field development to the commercial, preconstruction stage. 
4. Identify, develop, and maintains productive relationships with stakeholders.
