Trade & Investment KwaZulu-Natal is a South African trade and investment promotion agency established to specifically promote the Province of KwaZulu-Natal as a premier investment destination and to facilitate trade by assisting locally-based business enterprises to access international markets.
The following position is based at the TIKZN HEAD OFFICE IN DURBAN.
 
 
CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
(Five Year Fixed Term Contract)
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the successful candidate will provide strategic financial direction to safeguard TIKZN against financial risk in order to ensure its strategic goals are achieved.
 
Requirements: • Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accountancy is essential • Postgraduate degree in Accountancy preferred • Qualified CA (SA) will be an advantage • Masters would be an advantage • 8-10 years' experience in Auditing or Public/Private sector-related field • 3 years' experience at a managerial level in finance • Sound knowledge on GRAP applications in the public sector • Thorough understanding of the Public Finance Management Act (PFMA) and Treasury  regulations • Sound knowledge of public sector financial management.
