SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT DEMAND & ACQUISITION FOR VILLIERSDORP / RIVIERSONDEREND / GREYTON & GENADENDAL 
Salary: Post level T10 – Between: R270 996.00 p.a. and R351 732.00 p.a. 
The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a relevant three (3) year qualification, preferably in SCM; Logistics or Procurement together with 2 – 5 years relevant experience. Must be computer literate (MS Office). Applicants must have the ability to work under pressure with excellent time management skills. Ability to communicate in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. 
 
Key Performance Areas: Coordinate, administer and control activities associated with the SCM processes * aligning information systems, applications, work processes and role boundaries to support functional outcomes related to the acquisition of goods and services * providing guidance to personnel on the interpretation of SCM procedures * attending to administrative sequences and mechanisms related to bid documentation, opening, registering, recording and evaluation of bids and formal written price quotations * ensure that all information are kept on record * assist the Accountant SCM with all procurement related functions * liaise with internal and external stakeholders to clarify information on requisitions and obtaining quotations from service providers * participate in meetings and provide information on specific SCM processes and procedures * must be willing to work overtime * other duties as requested from time to time.

ACCOUNTANT: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT (TENDER EVALUATION AND CONTRACTS) - CALEDON 
Salary: T12 – Between R377 652.00 p.a. and R490 200.00 p.a. 
The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a relevant three (3) year qualification, preferably in SCM; Logistics or Procurement together with 5 – 8 years relevant experience. Must be computer literate (MS Office). Applicants must have the ability to work under pressure with excellent time management skills. A valid driver’s license. Ability to communicate in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. The most eligible candidate must also comply with the Municipal Regulations on Minimum Competency Levels for Middle Management (Valid proof must be attached) 
 
Key Performance Areas: Co-ordinates and controls the SCM processes associated with the screening of tenders * evaluate points scored by responsive tenderers * managing and maintaining the CIDB I-Tender Register * Ensure compliance with regards to notices of tenders and extensions with the prescribed SCM legislations * Administration of contracts awarded * Ensure functioning of Tender Committee * controlling the processes associated with the signing and distribution of form of offer document and other relevant information * SCM reporting and administration * reviewing tender notices and ensure accuracy * other duties as requested from time to time.

MANAGER: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT - CALEDON 
Salary: Post level T15 – Between R551 844.00 p.a. to R716 352.00 p.a. plus a travel allowance of R12 471.00 per month. 
The most eligible candidate must be in possession of a relevant 3-year tertiary qualification, preferably in Supply Chain Management / Logistics / Procurement. Must be computer literate (MS Office). 8 years or more relevant experience concerning all areas of the supply chain processes; and management of supply chain information or having gained specialist experience in a supply chain discipline. The most eligible candidate should also demonstrate proven visionary and strategic thinking skills and decision-making ability. Thorough knowledge of the Municipal Finance Management Act, Procurement Systems and the Preferential Act 2000 & BEEA. Excellent report writing skills, presentation skills and communication skills. A valid driver’s license. Effective communication skills in ate least two of the three official languages in the Western Cape, namely English, Afrikaans and Xhosa. Key Performance Areas: Manage the implementation of specific procedures, systems and controls associated with key functional areas embodied in the SCM Management structure * Oversee statutory compliance * Manage and control personnel performance, productivity and discipline within the SCM department * Implement the procurement policy and procedure * Ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures and applicable legislation * Coordinate the tender process and the evaluation thereof * Liaise with finance to resolve any issues with regards to payment of goods and services * Ensure effective, efficient and economical procurement, storage, risk control * Administer the suspension of vendors and preferred providers * Monitor the procurement/Tender Committee i.e. Agenda preparation and submission of documents, minutes of meetings and proper record keeping of processes and documents * ensure that Council adhere to MFMA * other duties as requested from time to time.
