THE INNOVATION HUB - GAMATION@MAXUM DIGITAL

The Innovation Hub through its Smart Industries Unit's Maxum Digital Programme in partnership with Gamation is looking for Animation and Gaming SMMEs in need of development and production support to rollout their existing IPs as an animated series or gaming products.
 
This initiative builds on existing resources, infrastructure and partners that will help pivot BB-BEE SMME's to develop and produce animation for broadcast, as well as create games for the entertainment and education markets.
 
ANIMATION
The selection criteria include: BB-BEE SMMEs • African content proposal for 2D / 3D animation • Concept bible - for principal characters with clear arcs • Story synopsis - no more than 2 pages • Concept art • Established scriptwriter attached to the project (or willingness to work with one) • Willing to be part of development & training required to get the project broadcast ready in 2021 • Registered South African business Tax clearance certificate • Target audience of animated series should be ECD and tween audience.
