Qualifications and Experience 
Required Qualification: An NQF 7 level qualification in Business Management / Information Technology or related disciplines. 
Experience: 8 years in the provision of ICT services / solutions, with 4 years as a Senior Manager with strategic leadership, general management, business support/operations as well as in the provisioning of large systems within the public sector which should include the following: 8 years hands-on experience in the EUC environment in a large organization. Deep working knowledge & experience of EUC solutions, services, trends, frameworks and standards, trends. Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management including managed services. Experience in preparing, managing operating budgets. Experience with business continuity, disaster recovery, risk management, contract/vendor negotiations, and service management processes. Proven ability to serve as an affective member of a senior manager team and being an effective leader to a team of highly trained staff and consultants. Proven ability to form, manage, lead advisory committees and interact effectively with risk and data managers, auditors, consultants, vendors and other orientational stakeholders. Experience in dealing with complex projects and meeting conflicting demands General experience with Hosting, Wide Area Networks, Cloud computing and Software Defined infrastructure environments.

  • Plan, Design and Develop DMZ security architectures, strategies, frameworks and solutions; 
  • Identifying, assessing, monitoring and evaluating security risks relating to the DMZ Infrastructure and services 
  • Develops tactical response procedures for security incidents 
  • Internet/DMZ security projects leadership and solution implementations 
  • Coordinate ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, and maintenance of security controls and services aligned to the cyber security framework, policies, standards and procedures 
  • Design and implement security standards and procedures in systems and security policies and guidelines for all system security processes relating to DMZ. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3-year National Diploma / Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science /Information Technology or relevant qualification - at least NQF level 6 or a verified / certified alternative equivalent @ NQF Level 6. 
Certification: Networking certification, Open -source certification, Security related certification (CCSP, ISC2, CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCNE) will be an added advantage. 
Experience: A minimum of 8 years in the ICT field, including IT Governance, Planning, Procurement, implementation and maintenance/enhancements of integrated solutions across multiple hardware and software platforms with leadership, management, operational responsibility in a large corporate/public sector organization including: minimum 3 years’ experience in a leadership level/role. Experience should include the following: Internet protocols, services and standards. Experience with large to very large enterprise environments which include multiple site locations. Hands-on technical experience DMZ/Perimeter related network. Experience in designing, developing, and writing technical reports, business cases, procedure documents. Experience in preparing and facilitating technical design meetings, training, and deployment documentation. Purpose of the job 
To provide organisational capabilities and services to internal and external customers from conception to delivery thus maximizing customer understanding, build customer relationship and improve customer satisfaction with the aim of increasing profitability for SITA. To oversee, manage and execute projects / activities to establish relationship, monitor, measure, and maintain client contracts, in accordance with legislative requirements and best practices, to ensure that requirements are met. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
  • Drive a portfolio of customers in the assigned cluster to determine and assess existing customers’ needs with the desired ICT requirements profile per cluster customer to provide effective solution approach to deliver within existing contractual constraints policies and SITA commercial service catalogue. 
  • In collaboration with service owners, including senior management and key stakeholders, drive the implementation of targeted digital products and solutions for each cluster customer. 
  • Build, manage and maintain strategic relationships with Government Departments (i.e. SITA service owners) to continuously sustain the SITA business. 
  • Perform analysis on cluster needs and requirements in collaboration with Business Development team and other internal and external key stakeholders. 
  • Perform SLA management, monitoring and review. 
  • Provide management support and ensure implementation, adherence and compliance to the SITA Engagement management methodologies and regulations. 
  • Manage, coordinate, analyse and identify the risks to minimise the service gaps and with the aim of achieving the agreed service levels. 
  • Provide inputs into the budgeting process, plan and drive the achievement of the targeted revenue as well as monitoring/controlling the budget to ensure that the expenditure is within the approved Budget. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Required Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Information Technology OR Computer Science OR Bachelor degree in Commerce OR Marketing OR Business Administration OR Economics / BTech (at least NQF 6). SITA to identify and invest in Sales Certifications. 
Experience: 6 - 7 years working sales and IT experience in the engagement management/ relationship management and/or project management at a Senior Management level of managing Sales. The incumbent will be required to consult and interact with relevant Provincial Government and Local Government Officials, GITOC Bodies, Government Governance bodies, industry partners, standards generating bodies, accreditation and certification bodies at a senior management and executive level. The incumbent will be required to participate and provide input in implementation of Customer related strategies, SITA Sales Methodology and Sales Process. Must have strong sales and business management skills.
