Purpose of the job 
To manage and maintain the core server management infrastructure, resolve high/medium incidents logged, upgrade the server hardware/software monitor server availability in the client’s enterprise or LAN environment to ensure good service delivery. 
 
Key Responsibility Area 

• Implementation of all services and solutions relating to the Core server infrastructure and Directory services. 
• Design procedures and standards for Directory integrated systems, Servers and related services and monitor implementation thereof. 
• Management/ ownership /resolution of high medium operational incidents.

Qualifications and Experience

Key Responsibility Areas 

• Audit security in an IT infrastructure to ensure the proper configuration of Linux/Unix, Windows and Oracle server security

Purpose of the job 
To design, develop, test, implement, debug, draft technical documents, perform release, perform application maintenance and user support, perform software enhancement of integrated software applications, in accordance with ICT standards and the enterprise architecture for Government. 
 
Key Responsibility Area 

• Develop / Design software or customize software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency using SITAs software development stack / development framework. 
• Coordinate software system installation and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met. 
• Develop a new software or enhancement using Delphi programming language. 
• Maintain the integrated IT software components systems once they are in operation. 
• Develop integrated Technical Service Specifications for single or multiple software components to clearly set direction for procuring or building software components. 

 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3 years Diploma / Degree in ICT (Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology and Engineering) or related field. 
Experience: 3 to 5 years’ experience with full software development lifecycle (SLDC), within systems development, implementation and maintenance / enhancements of solutions in the corporate sector organisation. Having worked with BI software/technology will be an added advantage. 
 
Technical Competencies Description 
Knowledge of: Understanding of computer science including algorithms, data structures, operating systems and databases. Understanding of the user requirement process. Understand various tools and techniques in identifying functional requirements of software. Knowledge of Governance e.g. Cobit and ITIL Knowledge of the software development process and its technologies Knowledge to design and develop test plans and software simulator to facilitate different levels of testing. Qualifications and Experience

Technical Competencies Description 
Experience: At least one-year corporate experience in the Service Management / End User Support Environment, OR Call Centre Agent experience with 1 – 2 years relevant experience in the End User Computing services and related LAN Infrastructures Services. Maintenance and support service of the End User Computing Services relating to all LAN Infrastructure Services such as servers, desktops, LAN cabling, switches and other LAN peripherals. Maintenance and support to ensure the availability of the services according to prescribed procedures, policies, standards and SLA’s.
