Purpose of the job 
To ensure effective planning, deployment, operational performance and maintenance, security, and optimisation of the network to deliver excellent network quality of service, and to ensure Customer Service Level Agreement (SLA) metrics are met. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
  • Develop, implement and maintain WAN systems in order to ensure technical performance, availability, stability and also ensure services are delivered to clients as per the SLA 
  • Implement and execute the configuration the of the MPLS, SDN, and customisation of VPN and associated infrastructure in order to assist the client in meeting their work demands / requirements 
  • Lead and provide inputs into the Quality of Service (QoS) policies within the Networking Operating Systems & WAN systems. 
  • Develop, implement, and maintain customised network solutions 
  • The provisioning of Internet services that includes both shared and dedicated bandwidth services to deliver on the business goals of SITA and ensure sustainability in service delivery to the clients. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology / Electrical Engineering (L/C)/ Telecommunications (or equivalent at NQF 6). 
Experience: 8 - 10 years working experience in the ICT field with two (2years) managerial responsibilities in a corporate/public sector organization. 
 
Technical Competencies Description 
Knowledge of: WAN Architecture, ITIL, COBIT, ITSM, Public Finance Management Act (PFMA), Government Wide Enterprise Architecture (GWEA), SITA business process, and Financial Modelling. The incumbent will be required to consult and interact with relevant Government Officials, standards generating bodies, accreditation and certification bodies.

Purpose of the job 
To provide remote and onsite LAN and Desktop technical support to Workstations and Network infrastructure, ensuring that the clients requirements are always met, and their expectations exceeded. 
 
Key Responsibility Areas 
Provide first and second level LAN & desktop support within SLA targets. Install and configure new IT equipment within SLA targets. Implementation, customization and maintenance of the remote software deployment. Provide support to the enterprise’s local IT and software resources. Provide LAN & desktop advisory services to clients. Day to day administrative tasks. 
 
Qualifications and Experience 
Minimum: Grade 12 PLUS National Higher Certificate in IT (NQF Level 5) with A+/N+ either as a subject of the Certificate OR as a separate certification (expiry irrelevant). 
Experience: At least one-year corporate experience in the Service Management / End User Support Environment, OR Call Centre Agent experience with 1 – 2 years relevant experience in the End User Computing services and related LAN Infrastructures Services. Maintenance and support service of the End User Computing Services relating to all LAN Infrastructure Services such as servers, desktops, LAN cabling, switches and other LAN peripherals. Maintenance and support to ensure the availability of the services according to prescribed procedures, policies, standards and SLA’s. Ensure the resolution of hardware and software service requests, incidents and problem within End User Computing and all related LAN infrastructure. 
 
Technical Competencies Description

Purpose of the job

Purpose of the job 
To develop national and provincial SLA primary documents, SLA annexures and SLA addendums well as initiate the relevant SLA annexures from the SITA lines of business. Initiate the process to finalise the business agreements and keep record thereof. Implement activities to establish, monitor, measure, and maintain client contracts, in accordance with legislative requirements and best practices, to ensure that SITA and client requirements are met.

  • Implement, measure, monitor and improve the Client Contract management strategy, framework, models, and standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: 5-6 years working experience in the contract management, engagement management/ relationship management and/or project management, including 2 years as Specialist/Manager in a corporate/public sector Organisation.
